Role Overview Due to our continued growth, we are excited to offer this exciting new role. We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Sales Development professional to join our Brand Activation Team, working on behalf of one of the world’s biggest companies to support the launch of their exciting new Oral Nicotine brand in the UK market. This role is crucial in taking the client’s strategic goals and translating it into new distribution points whilst nurturing existing accounts to drive brand success. The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial mindset, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to identify and capitalise on new business opportunities. They will play a pivotal role in executing brand activation initiatives, ensuring widespread market penetration, and fostering key partnerships across various independent convenience and wholesale categories. Area Postcodes: E, IG, RM Qualifications & Experience: - Proven experience as a Territory Account Manager, Regional Account Manager, or in a similar role within FMCG, vaping, nicotine, or related industries. - Strong commercial acumen with a passion for brand activation and business development. - Strong sales experience, a hunter that thrives on new business and delivering results. - Ability to work independently while adapting to a fast-paced, dynamic environment. - Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills. - A results-driven mindset with a track record of exceeding sales targets. - Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and CRM systems. - Full clean UK driving licence. - Previous experience in a start-up or fast-growing environment is a plus. What You Will Be Doing: - The role will initially focus on identifying prospects and securing new distribution opportunities across multiple categories. - Building and nurturing strong relationships with key decision-makers to ensure the brand's success in the market. - Researching and identifying new opportunities for growth, strategic partnerships, and market trends. - Generating leads through networking, cold outreach, and existing relationships. - Delivering compelling and engaging presentations to communicate the value of our client’s brand and products. - Managing and progressing prospects through the sales funnel to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline. - Negotiating terms, addressing objections, and closing deals to achieve business objectives. - Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention, promptly addressing any concerns. - Flawlessly activating the client’s brand/s across multiple touchpoints by placing Point of Sale Materials, remerchandising and dual siting. - Meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs. - Using CRM systems to manage data accuracy, sales figures, and performance tracking. - Monitoring market trends and feeding insights back to the business. - Provide insight and detailed reporting of every visit using our internal platforms, ensuring data captured is accurate and recorded in a timely fashion. - Enhancing decision-making by utilising systems and analytical tools. - Executing retail visit plans to maximise efficiency and customer engagement. - Providing feedback on the development and execution of market activation plans. - Promoting a culture of engagement, collaboration, and inclusivity within the team.
