• Conduct site visits to assess the existing turbine and/or generator condition • Supervise signature tests on the unit before disassembly at site • Daily phone call with site team to answer questions and for problem anticipations • Provide additional work recommendation upon dismantling and inspection of existing components • Site record sheet review and approval • Non-conformity and general issue resolution • Conduct site visits during the critical phases of the project • Support commissioning and test phase • Reliability Issue resolution during warranty period • Provide Feedback of experience to the design team • Main site contact for operation and maintenance contracts

• Responsible for the design of hydro generator mechanical components for installed based projects • Provide technical support for supply chain and site activities related to hydro generators • Deliver design work packages for hydro generator projects using technical guidelines and reference projects • Collaborate with other engineering COEs (Center Of Excellence) worldwide • Participate and lead design review meetings with engineers, functions and consulting Engineers • Supervise draftsmen to deliver design calculations, technical specifications, drawings and BOM’s • Apply rules for reliability, quality, safety and cost

• Define problems with PMs and Engineers, explore solutions, validate direction, and ship improvements that move key outcomes. • Use AI tools and modern dev workflows to build and iterate on real interfaces. Partner with engineers to take the best ideas into production. • Contribute to front-end components and features using web technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Angular). Improve quality, consistency, and speed of delivery. • Ensure what we design is buildable and what we build meets the design bar. Close gaps quickly. • Handle complex workflows by keeping the default experience clear and intuitive. • Refine interactions, states, and details. Address design and tech debt, including usability and accessibility issues. • Align Figma and production. Contribute reusable components and patterns. • Talk to users, run quick tests, and use feedback to adjust direction. • Share work early, participate in design reviews, and help improve how we design and build—especially with AI.

This is a remote position. This role supports both active client engagements and upcoming automation projects. Qualified candidates will be considered for immediate openings as well as future opportunities aligned to system implementations, upgrades, and expansion initiatives. ​ Overview This role drives the design and engineering of mechanical systems supporting material handling operations, enabling efficient and reliable automated material flow across distribution centers and manufacturing environments. Responsibilities - Develop detailed layouts and mechanical designs for conveyors, sortation systems, and structural components - Create equipment specifications, RFQs, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) - Perform system calculations (load, throughput, structural integrity) - Support installation, commissioning, and system validation activities - Conduct site visits for field measurements and retrofit assessments - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design integration - Support cost estimation and value engineering efforts Requirements Qualifications - 3–8+ years in material handling or industrial mechanical design - Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools - Experience with conveyance and automated systems design - Understanding of system integration across controls and software - Strong problem-solving and design optimization capabilities Education Requirements: - Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred - Technical certifications or military experience highly valued - Equivalent hands-on experience widely accepted Preferred: - EIT (Engineer-in-Training) - PE (for senior roles) Location: Remote or based at client sites depending on project requirements.
