This is a remote position. This role supports both active client engagements and upcoming automation projects. Qualified candidates will be considered for immediate openings as well as future opportunities aligned to system implementations, upgrades, and expansion initiatives. Overview This role drives the design and engineering of mechanical systems supporting material handling operations, enabling efficient and reliable automated material flow across distribution centers and manufacturing environments. Responsibilities - Develop detailed layouts and mechanical designs for conveyors, sortation systems, and structural components - Create equipment specifications, RFQs, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) - Perform system calculations (load, throughput, structural integrity) - Support installation, commissioning, and system validation activities - Conduct site visits for field measurements and retrofit assessments - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design integration - Support cost estimation and value engineering efforts Requirements Qualifications - 3–8+ years in material handling or industrial mechanical design - Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools - Experience with conveyance and automated systems design - Understanding of system integration across controls and software - Strong problem-solving and design optimization capabilities Education Requirements: - Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred - Technical certifications or military experience highly valued - Equivalent hands-on experience widely accepted Preferred: - EIT (Engineer-in-Training) - PE (for senior roles) Location: Remote or based at client sites depending on project requirements.

Role Description Forge ahead with WSB. We seek a Senior Solar PV Design Engineer who will be responsible for designing and developing construction‑ready documentation for utility‑scale solar photovoltaic (PV) systems of 5-50MW or larger. This role focuses on delivering high‑quality electrical system designs, layout drawings, and engineering analyses that support bidding, permitting, and construction. The senior engineer collaborates with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure code‑compliant, efficient, and reliable PV system designs, and serves as the electrical engineer of record (EEOR). Office is located in Littleton, MA with fully remote option available. What You Will Do: - Design and engineer utility‑scale solar PV and energy storage (BESS) systems at 5-50MW or higher. - Develop comprehensive electrical system designs including: - System layout of modules and equipment - Equipment selection and specification development - One‑line and three‑line diagrams - DC, LVAC and MVAC cable sizing and routing - SCADA and communication system design - Relay & communication programming: SEL 651, 751, 735, & RTAC - Grounding system design - Wiring diagrams, trench design, and basic pole design - Engineering studies, including, but not limited to arc flash, coordination, grounding, thermal ampacity, lightning risk assessment. - Prepare complete construction drawings using AutoCAD. - Coordinate with clients, utilities, permitting authorities, contractors, and partnering engineering firms. - Support Construction Administration activities, including responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, and conducting site visits. - Manage multiple projects effectively and ensure timely delivery of engineering outputs. - Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and industry best practices, including NEC requirements.
