Job Description

Partnership Development Manager – Health Systems

SMU Business Intelligence and Analytics

• Own the full referral partnership development process with medium to large health systems, from prospecting through referral readiness and initial referral activation • Build and execute thoughtful, research driven outreach plans tailored to reach health system and market • Lead discovery conversations focused on understanding referral workflows, care gaps, decision criteria, and operational readiness • Build and maintain strong relationships with clinical, operational, and administrative stakeholders through activation • Maintain accurate CRM records and partner status updates • Collaborate closely with Account Managers and cross functional partners • Research and prioritize health system targets using Definitive Healthcare and similar tools • Analyze referral potential and market dynamics to guide targeting and messaging • Share insights with sales leadership to inform partnership strategy • Track outreach and referral performance and recommend adjustments as needed • Support business development initiatives led by senior sales leaders

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in partnership development or business development, ideally within health or health tech
  • Strong relationships building skills with the ability to establish trust across various audiences
  • Comfortable engaging health system stakeholders through thoughtful outreach and discovery rather than high volume sales motions
  • Strong analytical and market research skills
  • Understanding of the nuances of healthcare data, industry insights, and partner intelligence strongly preferred
  • Strong executive communication skills, to communicate findings and insights clearly to senior leaders
  • Comfortable working independently and owning day to day progress
