Join our dynamic and multidisciplinary Water Team as a Clean Water modeller in one of our rapidly growing Scotland offices – whilst also taking advantage of our flexible hybrid working model. These include contractors, charities and water companies. In this role, you will be one of the lead technical team members supporting the junior members of the team deliver top quality projects. Qualifications Ready to push the limits of what’s possible? Here’s what we’re looking for: - Experience with using clean water modelling software packages such as: Infoworks WS Pro or Synergi. - Familiar with using GIS software such as: ArcGIS; MapInfo or QGIS. - Understand and work within financial and programme constraints of a project. - Ability to work to project scope and client’s modelling specifications. - Be self-motivated individual with ability to take ownership of workload - Experience of technically reviewing projects, providing design and optioneering input. - Liaising with water industry, utility companies or subcontractors. - Excellent oral and written communication skills. Additional desirable skills: - Degree or Masters in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geography, Environmental Science or another related discipline. - Proven track record with delivering hydraulic network modelling projects - Working towards Chartership with CIWEM, ICE or similar professional bodies. - Experience with mentoring or managing staff. - Experience with coding languages such Ruby or Python You will also be self-motivated with an ability to work both autonomously where required, with a strong sense of commitment, a willingness to learn and a desire to work in a dynamic deadline driven team environment.
