Senior Analyst, Strategic Finance
Foodsmart
• Conduct cross-functional analysis and summarize results into actionable insights that support strategic decision making across the organization. • Support the annual financial planning process including: build budget templates, participate in department-level discussions, and develop structure for performance management against goals. • Prepare materials in conjunction with month-end close: Budget vs Actual reports, vendor level spend analysis, and monthly headcount reconciliation for the Sales and Marketing organization. • Generate and help to automate the reporting materials for the leadership, board of directors, etc. • Analyze financial data to identify areas of improvement across the organization. • Demonstrate strategic, analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. • Acquire and maintain an understanding of the strategies, priorities and issues within the US healthcare system.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of business experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Accounting, or Consulting, fast growing tech company experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skill set with ability to apply quantitative reasoning to business problems
- Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines with an emphasis on attention to details
- Proactive self-starter; able effectively prioritize and manage daily responsibilities independently
- Motivated/energized in working in a mission based environment
- High Proficiency in Excel and GSuite
- Experience in B2C or Digital Health
- Experience with financial systems (ex. Netsuite)
- Experience with SQL, Python and/or Tableau
- Demonstrated experience implementing AI capabilities into Financial workflows
