• Manage the Payroll (Personnel) and Tax teams. • Create and review policies and process flows relevant to both areas, ensuring coverage across all countries. • Define key KPIs and reports to monitor the teams’ activities. • Ensure accurate calculation and payment of salaries, benefits, social charges, and taxes. • Identify tax planning initiatives that may reduce the companies’ tax burden and social charges. • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure processes align with business requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Postgraduate degree in Taxation or Payroll.
- Solid experience in tax and payroll/personnel operations.
- Proven experience managing teams.
- Experience in tax planning.
- Knowledge of the Brazilian tax reform.
- Analytical mindset with process orientation and metrics monitoring.
- Fluent Spanish.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY We are seeking an experienced Payroll Coordinator with 2+ years of payroll experience to join our team. In this role, you will ensure the timely and accurate preparation of payroll in compliance with all local, state, and federal tax laws. The ideal candidate will have experience with Dayforce, Workday, or other related SaaS software platforms, and will be committed to delivering excellent customer service while taking on additional responsibilities to support payroll operations. Strong communication skills and the ability to resolve issues efficiently are key in this role, as you will be interacting with both internal team members and external stakeholders to ensure seamless payroll processing. JOB DESCRIPTION Key Responsibilities: - Payroll Processing: Assist in administering the company’s payroll through a third-party vendor by ensuring accurate and timely submission of work hours by supervisors and team members. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with missing or inaccurate time submittals and ensure timely approval of bonuses, payroll distribution, and maintenance of payroll records. - Compliance & System Management: Ensure that payroll and timekeeping processes comply with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations. Collaborate with third-party vendors and the internal IT department to ensure payroll systems are set up properly, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. - Customer Service & Problem Resolution: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing employee payroll inquiries, concerns, and issues in a timely and professional manner. Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and follow up with employees to communicate solutions and ensure satisfaction. - Training & Support: Train and support managers and team members on payroll processes and platforms. Offer guidance on time-and-attendance systems, conduct training sessions on payroll policies, and provide assistance with special payroll-related issues. - Communication & Liaison: Prepare and distribute documents, letters, and communications related to payroll policies and procedures. Serve as the liaison for questions and concerns regarding payroll, assisting team members with any payroll-related inquiries. - Acquisition Support & Onboarding: Participate in acquisitions and take-overs by assisting with the onboarding process of new employees, including presenting payroll policies and ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
