Senior Network Engineer

Leidos

• Lead network architecture implementation across LAN/WAN, data center, and cloud environments • Provide MPLS and SD-WAN network design, support, and technology implementation • Architect and manage data center infrastructure solutions • Design and implement Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) • Implement device authentication and network access control strategies using Cisco Identity Services Engine • Architect and manage network security using: Cisco Firepower Management Center, Cisco 3105 Firewalls (Active/Passive high availability clusters) • Design secure access for enterprise applications, including Cloud and on premise based applications: Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams • Implementation of new network configuration on existing Zero Trust architecture leveraging Zscaler: Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA), Zscaler Private Access (ZPA), Zscaler Digital Experience (ZDX) • Implement and mitigate security controls / finding: Block malicious IPs and URLs, Mitigate vulnerabilities across network borders • Integrate Zscaler with Cisco edge and border devices • Address ServiceNow incidents, implement change orders • Architect and manage secure VPN solutions (Cisco ASA) for business partners • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and strategic recommendations

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 8-12 years of relevant experience or Master's degree with 6-10 years of experience
  • Strong experience in network architecture design and implementation
  • Deep expertise in networking technologies (routing, switching, security, firewall, load balancers, VPN, NAC, and data center fabrics)
  • Experience with enterprise security architecture and Zero Trust frameworks
  • Experience supporting federal or large enterprise environments
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and leadership skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills
