We are seeking a Comply to Connect (C2C) Engineer (Subject Matter Expert) to support our Network Operations Team. This role will be responsible for ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient network access across the enterprise environment. Responsibilities: Planning, Design and Sustainment - Attending planning sessions to understand business and technical requirements. - Recommending cost-effective, technically feasible network solutions that meet initial capacity requirements, provide long-term scalability, and anticipate future growth and performance needs. - Adhering to and following change management policies that facilitate a stable, well-documented network infrastructure that meets organizational requirements. This includes the creation, submission, review, and periodic representation of complex changes in periodic change management meetings. - Documenting projects, support actions and other administrative artifacts to serve as reference material for related support activities and management staff. - Ensuring incidents and service requests adhere to established service level agreements (SLAs). - Submitting written and verbal status reports as requested by management staff. System Administration - Performing maintenance and sustainment of all Cisco ISE NAC components to ensure performance, stability and availability conforming to established service level agreements (SLAs) - Providing administration and technical support for Cisco ISE servers. - Delivering timely and responsive technical support of all ISE components to address service degradations, interruptions or other such impactful events in accordance with established service level agreement *This position is designed to be flexible, with responsibilities evolving to meet business needs and enable individual growth. Qualifications: - Must be able to obtain Secret security clearance. - Experience designing, deploying, and tuning the NAC Solution of 10000 plus end points. - Experience with implementation, sustainment, maintenance and administration of the Cisco ISE NAC Solution - Experience with Cisco Firepower ASR/ISR/CSR/ASA and Unified Communications Management appliance. - Experience with Palo Alto Next Generation Firewalls - Experience troubleshooting and resolving issues affecting the overall performance, stability and availability of the LAN switching Architecture. - Experience with SolarWinds, TCPDump, Wireshark and analyzing network traffic. - Should be capable of organizing, tracking and managing multiple projects and deadlines Preferred Qualifications: - Technical writing skills. - Intermediate knowledge of networking and systems administration; and the ability to troubleshoot problems - Familiarity with government information assurance standards including DISA STIGs, NIST 800-53, IAVAs management, auditing and accreditation processes. - B.A or B.S. in a degree such as Computer Science, Information Systems or Information Technology or 7 years related experience. - Experience working in a DoD healthcare IT environment. This role plays a critical part in Zayo’s automation strategy, ensuring that network designs are optimized for automated provisioning and high-velocity service delivery. The successful candidate will balance traditional optical engineering excellence with a forward-thinking approach to network innovation and efficiency. This role is also responsible for effectively communicating with internal order management personnel and various cross-functional teams on the progress of capacity fulfillment. The Network Engineer III is responsible for meeting/exceeding daily and weekly performance targets while actively contributing to the development of automated tooling and standardized design practices that reduce the level of effort for wavelength delivery. Responsibilities: - Responsible for design planning, record creation, and capacity fulfillment throughout the U.S. and Canadian networks, ensuring designs align with WAAS automation standards. - Works with Project Managers to effectively deliver service requirements to customers. - Designs DWDM network per Network Architecture standards, ensuring scalability for future growth and compatibility with automated workflows. - Provides timely updates to project managers and leadership for service deliverables, due dates, and automation project milestones. - Reviews capacity requests for correctness and identifies opportunities to improve data integrity within inventory systems to support automated provisioning. - Maintains specific customer commitments and deadlines in the Zayo (Salesforce or future system used) database. - Provides support to field operations to resolve provisioning problems; reviews and verifies technical data in an effort to project issues. - Opens, forecasts, and maintains a budget based off of the service commitments. - Secures quotes from our optical vendors, orders equipment, moves equipment from inventory to the field, writes scopes of works for installation of equipment. - Exercises interpersonal skills in working with all internal customers. - Performs other related duties or projects as assigned by management. - Manages workload to identify critical issues and prioritize those items that must be completed daily. - Works around obstacles and roadblocks within the order flow to obtain the priority required by Zayo to meet required due dates.
