Logistics Lead
Vibrantz Technologies Inc.
Role Description The Logistics Lead is responsible for overseeing domestic logistics operations across North America to ensure the efficient, cost-effective, and compliant movement of materials. This role manages over-the-road (OTR) transportation, supplier performance, and logistics processes to support manufacturing and customer demand. - Manage relationships and performance of domestic transportation subcontractors. - Coordinate the timely movement of raw materials and finished goods between suppliers, plants, warehouses, and customers. - Develop and maintain logistics processes and procedures to drive consistent on-time performance, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement. - Oversee freight spend, supplier agreements, and transportation scheduling strategies. - Partner cross-functionally with production, procurement, quality, and customer service. - Provide leadership support to Logistics Coordinators across North America. - Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to health and safety standards. - Continuously review systems, technology, staffing, and performance metrics for operational optimization. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree required. - Minimum of 5 years’ experience in transportation operations or equivalent. - Knowledge of Department of Transportation Rules and Regulations. - Knowledge of computers. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Requirements - Use and monitor operating systems to meet Vibrantz Technologies requirements for domestic logistics. - Maintain system for evaluation of subcontractors. - Ensure compliance with domestic regulations and training requirements. - Support as a lead for the Logistics Coordinators for NAM. - Manage supplier agreements and freight spend for NAM OTR transportation. - Develop methods and procedures for scheduling raw materials and trucks from suppliers. - Interface with production, quality, procurement, and customer service. - Motivate, organize, and encourage teamwork within the workforce. - Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates. - Keep staff fully trained. - Maintain health and safety standards. - Keep accurate records. - Special projects as assigned by the Logistics Director NAM & EMEA.
