Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement BI solutions tailored to the education sector, focusing on student performance, educational content engagement, and operational efficiency. - Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize data analytics needs, translating business questions into analytical projects. - Design and maintain dashboards and reports that provide insights into key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends in the education industry. - Conduct in-depth analyses of educational data, including student performance, curriculum effectiveness, and market trends, to identify opportunities for product and service enhancement. - Work closely with the product development team to integrate analytics findings into EdTech solutions, ensuring data-driven decision-making in product design and feature improvements. - Leverage intermediate to advanced Looker capabilities (LookML, Explores, dashboards) to deliver actionable insights and measurable business value. Required Qualifications: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Business Intelligence or Data Analyst role, preferably in the education or EdTech sector. - Proficiency in BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI) and data analysis software (e.g., SQL, Python, R). - Familiarity with the education sector's challenges and opportunities, including knowledge of educational systems, standards, and regulatory requirements. Outcomes (Performance Expectations) - Clean, standardize, and document stakeholder-facing dashboards in Looker with aligned definitions and metrics within the first 60 days. - Identify and resolve at least five inconsistencies or discrepancies in reporting logic within the first 90 days. - Partner with FP&A and product teams to ensure 100% alignment between financial and operational data by the end of the second quarter. - Deliver ad hoc strategic analyses with clear financial or strategic recommendations, averaging one per month. - Lead and document improvements to at least two core Looker Explores or dashboard structures to enable scalable self-service by end of H1. TOTAL COMPENSATION Base salary is set according to market rates for the nearest major metro and varies based on Launch Potato’s Levels Framework.
