Not all heroes wear capes — but plenty of them use toilet paper Want to challenge yourself at a purpose-led scale up AND make a difference in the world? Come join the revolootion! Funny name, serious business We make eco-friendly products and donate 50% of our profits to provide clean water and help build toilets for the billions of people who lack proper access. So far, we’ve contributed over $18 million AUD (roughly $12.5 million USD) to fund sanitation projects around the globe. Basically, we’re really good at doing good. With hubs in Australia, the Philippines, China, the US, UK and Europe, our amazing team of 200+ work to make the biggest possible impact for people and the planet. Over the next couple of years, we’re hoping to increase our annual donation tenfold to get us closer to our dream of everyone in the world having access to clean water and sanitation services. A bit about the role We’re on the lookout for an Inventory Planner to help us keep things running smoothly. Your mission? To ensure our products are always on the shelves (or in our customers' hands) while keeping things efficient and cost-effective. You’ll be in charge of managing inventory, forecasting demand, and improving stock availability—all while working closely with our teams to streamline processes and drive continuous improvement in our supply chain. This is a role for someone who loves problem-solving and finding smart solutions to keep things moving. You’ll get to make a real impact, balancing the day-to-day operations with long-term strategy to ensure we’re ready for whatever comes next. If you worked here this past month here are some things you might have been involved in: - Owning inventory supply planning, ensuring the alignment across our target weeks of stock, supplier allocation, production capacity, and freight allocation policies. - Diving into demand and supply data to stay one step ahead, adjusting inventory strategies to avoid stockouts and keep customers happy. - Leading the charge on cross-functional collaboration to optimize the supply chain—working closely with production, logistics, and marketing teams to get products where they need to be, when they need to be there. - Participating in the evolution of our planning process by shortening our purchasing cycles from monthly to weekly to reduce risk of over and under stocking global warehouses - Redesigning and finalising parameters for our safety stock model to optimise global inventory holdings - Implementing an updated inventory policy for all 13 warehouses targeting compliance rates of 90% or higher - Delivering on the Integrated function of IBP by building weekly inventory and purchasing reports distributed to x-functional partners to help inform key decision making - Sharing your expertise to refine our systems, reports, and inventory policies, always looking for ways to make things better. - Contributing to the IBP team culture by championing daily stand-ups and fortnightly sprint planning Let’s talk about you We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and loves a good challenge. You’ve got a knack for balancing the day-to-day operational needs with long-term goals. Your experience in inventory management will help us improve our supply chain efficiency, and your data-driven approach will help us keep costs down and stock availability high. You’ve got: - Solid experience with inventory management, demand planning, and stock management (ideally in a Major Retail Facing or Direct to Customer setting). - A love for data—whether that’s in Excel / Google Sheets, NetSuite ERP, or any other platform—and the ability to analyze it to drive decisions. - Awesome communication skills, making it easy to present your insights so teams across the business can make informed choices. - The ability to foresee challenges, work through solutions, and communicate clearly with both internal and external stakeholders. - A passion for sustainability, and a desire to work for a company that’s making a real difference in the world. - Adept at problem-solving and project management, with strong organisational skills in time management and prioritisation. - Proficient in supply chain planning concepts and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes. Ready to level up our inventory game and make a positive impact in the world? Apply now and help us make sure our customers always get the sustainable products they love—while taking care of the planet too. Why should you work with us? First off, as a certified B Corp™, we work to make a difference every day while maintaining the highest standards of social and environmental impact. With our most recent score of 125.5 we’re in very good company with other exceptional B Corps around the world. We also believe that helping to make the world a better place should be rewarded accordingly – that’s why we offer competitive, market informed salaries, meaningful support towards healthcare for our team around the world, generous paid leave, tailored learning and development opportunities, and free toilet paper (yes, you read that right). Our engagement surveys (thanks Culture Amp!) tell us that our team is really proud (95%) to work for Who Gives A Crap and, well, we couldn’t be more proud of that. Have you made it this far? If you’re still reading, we think there’s a strong chance you might be our kind of person. Here’s the thing, though — research suggests that 60% of women and underrepresented folks might have already talked themselves out of applying. Even if you don’t check every box above, we want to encourage you to introduce yourself. We believe a diversity of perspectives and experiences makes a team stronger — and the stronger our team, the closer we are to delivering toilets and clean water for all.
