Our Electronics Commodity Organization (Integrated Supplier Team) within Operations and Supply Chain (OSC) at Raytheon has an excellent opportunity for a Commodity Performance Lead (CPL) to join our Printed Circuit Board (PCB)/Flex Performance & Procurement Execution Integrated Supplier Team (IST). In this role, you will support a team based approach focused on driving supplier performance through Purchase Order Management, Technical Challenge resolution, and building Key Relationships. Secondary to execution, you will focus on supplier strategy development and supplier selection specific to the PCB/Flex category. The objective of the role is to be an internal focal point that has a deep relationship with a key supplier(s) to ensure products are delivered on-time, on-budget, and with quality. Further, you will work to influence business critical decisions such as capital investments, strategic exits, and supply base consolidation. This position is a remote role, and the selected applicant will work with the hiring manager to set a schedule. What You Will Do: - Develop, implement, and maintain a clear execution and delivery schedule for the supplier's products, in partnership with the supplier (Often working with a supplier's Program Manager and Executive Leadership Team) - Communicate status (challenges, actions, owners, needs) at various levels within both Raytheon and the supplier - Drive closure of actions that are owned by Raytheon by building relationships - Drive closure of actions at the supplier by gaining trust and clearly communicating Raytheon priorities - Develop and implement supplier strategies, while partnering to meet customer needs. Includes: Savings Opportunities, GMRE assessment, Risk and Opportunity Analysis, Supplier Performance, and Emerging Technologies - Collaborate cross functionally to establish a "Grow, Maintain, Reduce, Exit (GMRE)” supplier strategy with detailed execution plans. - Identify capacity and manufacturing improvements through supplier investment opportunities to position the PCB/Flex supplier(s) and Raytheon for additional business opportunities. Qualifications You Must Have: - Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years experience. - Procurement, Commodity Management, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Performance Management, and/or Program Management experience. - Ability to travel 25-30% domestically - The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
