About the Role We are seeking a Data Analyst to support the Actuarial Reserving and Pricing teams by managing and optimizing data processes. This role will focus on handling Personal Auto data, creating reports and dashboards, and delivering insights for senior leadership. You will work closely with IT to resolve data issues and improve existing processes for greater efficiency, while contributing to special projects that drive business decisions. What You'll Do - Process, manipulate, and organize data for Actuarial Reserving and Pricing teams using SAS and SQL. - Create and maintain reports and dashboards using SAS, SQL, Excel, and R Shiny. - Support special data analysis projects for senior leadership. - Identify data issues and collaborate with IT to resolve defects. - Improve existing data processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. - Provide data and insights to all actuarial areas within the organization.

Job Requirements

  • Requirements
  • Experience in data management and reporting (Intermediate level).
  • Proficiency in SAS (Entry to Intermediate level), SQL (Intermediate), and Excel (Intermediate).
  • Programming skills (Intermediate), with knowledge of R and Python as a plus.
  • Familiarity with actuarial reserving concepts (Entry level).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage projects effectively.
  • Good communication skills for collaboration with IT and actuarial teams.
  • Insurance background in reserving data is a plus.
