**Solution Design & Delivery** - Lead end-to-end solution design and implementation across Oracle Cloud and on-premise systems - Develop, configure, and integrate applications using OIC, SOA Suite, APIs, and web services - Design and implement data flows and replication using Oracle GoldenGate and related tools - Ensure alignment of solution design with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance requirements - Support migration and modernization of legacy Oracle systems to OCI and Fusion Cloud platforms - Oversee code reviews, unit testing, and performance optimization for Oracle applications and integrations **Technical Leadership & Mentorship** - Lead a team of Oracle developers, DBAs, and integration engineers across multiple projects - Provide technical direction, troubleshooting expertise, and mentoring to project teams - Partner with architects and product owners to translate business requirements into detailed technical designs - Establish and enforce engineering best practices, standards, and reusable patterns for Oracle development **Operations & Continuous Improvement** - Work closely with DevOps and CloudOps to automate build, deploy, and monitoring processes for Oracle solutions - Ensure proactive performance monitoring, capacity planning, and disaster recovery for critical Oracle workloads - Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement by evaluating new Oracle tools, frameworks, and features - Support root cause analysis and remediation of critical production issues

• Maintain and augment the automation and services ultimately responsible for the operation of Planet’s satellites. This includes but is not limited to: • Specify and implement new HTTP APIs and help improve existing ones. • Evaluate and choose appropriate software technologies. • Design and deploy critical infrastructure. • Contribute with a team that values open and honest communication, collaboration, self-learning and initiative to solve problems big and small. • Work closely with various teams across Planet, ranging from Satellite and Ground Operations, to Pipeline and Product teams to ensure the satellite constellation meets all of the needs to achieve Planet’s missions.

You design and implement these integrations so they work reliably and are maintainable. • Designing thoughtful database structures: You understand how business processes translate into clean data models and design database architectures that not only work today but also scale with growing requirements. • Responsibility for clean, secure, and maintainable code: Quality is not optional. You write code that remains understandable and extensible in two years and ensure technical debt is avoided. • Independent work with real ownership: We set goals, not step-by-step instructions. You work autonomously, communicate proactively, and propose improvements without waiting for direction.
