Backend Developer
Global
• Develop and maintain REST APIs using Golang (primary) / Python • Implement business rules and integrations with databases • Model, query, and optimize data in PostgreSQL • Create and maintain containerized applications with Docker • Work in AWS environments using services such as S3, Lambda, and EC2 • Write clean, organized, and maintainable code • Handle errors, validations, and exception scenarios • Participate in code reviews and technical discussions • Collaborate on continuous improvements to architecture and code
Job Requirements
- 2 years of experience as a Backend Developer
- Experience with Golang for building APIs or another object-oriented language
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL (or another relational database):
- modeling (tables/relationships), queries, basic indexes
- Experience with Docker:
- write/adjust Dockerfiles and run local environments via containers
- Git and collaborative workflow (branches, PRs, code review)
- Experience developing REST APIs:
- integrations (internal/external) via HTTP/JSON, REST patterns, pagination/filters, and status codes
- Experience with AWS, especially:
- S3
- Lambda
- EC2
- Messaging (RabbitMQ/SQS) or background jobs (basic)
- Prior experience working with systems in production environments
- Experience with authentication and authorization in APIs (JWT, OAuth, etc.)
