Senior Vice President of Sales – Forensic Research

CFRA Research

• Act as a primary producer, managing and expanding sales opportunities • Lead complex sales cycles with CIOs, PMs, analysts, and procurement teams. • Demonstrate best‑in‑class sales behaviors—prospecting, positioning, objection handling, and closing—so the team can model successful approaches. • Identify new business opportunities and emerging client needs within the institutional research ecosystem. • Represent the firm’s forensic research capabilities in client meetings, industry events, and strategic discussions. • Translate client feedback into actionable insights for Research and Product teams. • Maintain a deep understanding of market trends, competitive offerings, and how institutional investors use forensic research in their investment processes. • Serve as a hands‑on mentor to sales professionals, offering deal support, skill development, and real‑time coaching. • Foster a collaborative environment where team members learn from shared experiences, client interactions, and best practices. • Support hiring, onboarding, and ongoing development of sales talent • Encourage a culture of curiosity, continuous learning, and client‑centric thinking. • Partner with internal teams to refine product positioning, enhance client value, and support go‑to‑market initiatives. • Contribute to forecasting and pipeline discussions • Help shape commercial strategy through practical, client‑driven insights.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of institutional sales experience in investment research, forensic accounting, alternative data, or related financial intelligence products.
  • Strong track record selling into hedge funds, asset managers, and other sophisticated investors.
  • Demonstrated success as a player‑coach—balancing personal production with mentoring and developing others, is preferred
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to simplify complex research for senior investment audiences.
  • Deep understanding of how forensic insights inform investment decisions.
  • Comfortable in a fast‑moving, entrepreneurial environment where influence and collaboration matter more than hierarchy.

Role Description Daikin Comfort Technologies Canada is seeking a professional, skilled individual for our Regional Sales Director opening for our branch operations group located remotely, but local to Canada. The Regional Sales Director’s responsibilities include: - Conducting face-to-face meetings with distributor principles and their management team along with their customers, new dealers, and sales team to promote company products and services. - Approving distributor pricing rebates levels and program requests. - Resolving market conflict between the different Goodman distribution channels that are in shared territories while growing overall market share. - Traveling and working trade shows, open houses, and other promotions as needed. - Growing the region exponentially through consultation and education of distributor’s principles, senior staff, marketing and sales staff. - Providing support to distribution to reach plan goals. This position will include overseeing the provinces of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.
