Role Description The Full Stack Developer will be responsible for the design, development, delivery, and support of CFRA's applications and services. The ideal candidate has a passion for solving business problems with technology, demonstrates technical excellence across the full development stack, and can effectively communicate business and technical needs to stakeholders. This role includes production support responsibilities during US business hours to ensure system reliability and rapid resolution of critical issues. - Respond to production incidents, perform root cause analysis, implement fixes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to minimize system downtime. - Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure. - Commitment to maintaining high availability of production systems that serve our global customer base. Qualifications - A minimum of 3+ years of full stack development experience building and delivering enterprise web applications with demonstrated proficiency in both frontend and backend technologies. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred. - Experience with financial domain knowledge is a plus. Requirements - Design and develop high-quality, high-performance, scalable full stack applications using React/TypeScript for frontend and Python for backend. - Build responsive, intuitive, and accessible user interfaces using React, TypeScript, modern CSS frameworks, and state management solutions. - Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure REST APIs and backend services using Python on AWS. - Integrate applications with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, Cognito, S3, CloudFront, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, and CloudWatch. - Contribute to architecture design decisions, implement scalable solutions using microservices and serverless patterns. - Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code following established standards and best practices. - Develop and maintain comprehensive unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests using modern testing frameworks. - Identify and implement optimizations to improve application performance, scalability, and efficiency. - Ensure applications are developed following security best practices. - Contribute to and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, or GitHub Actions. - Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform or similar IaC technologies. - Implement comprehensive monitoring and logging solutions using AWS CloudWatch, X-Ray, and other tools. - Mentor and coach peers, share knowledge and best practices. - Work collaboratively with product managers, designers, architects, and other developers. - Actively participate in all Agile/Scrum ceremonies. - Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex technical issues. - Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation. - Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in full stack development. • Execute the daily collection, cleansing, and validation processes of ETF (Exchange-Traded Fund) data such as NAV, Price, and Shares Outstanding to ensure high accuracy and reliability. • Perform region-specific data completeness checks, including Canada and Asia-Pacific datasets (NAVs and Prices), ensuring all required data points are available within deadline timeliness. • Monitor and perform quality assurance on data ingested via automated processes. • Identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies such as missing NAVs, incorrect pricing, duplicate records, or inconsistencies across ETF datasets. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Scrums and Stakeholders) to resolve data issues and improve ETF data processing efficiency. • Monitor automated workflows (e.g., DAGs) for failures in ETF data processing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolutions to avoid downstream impact. • Assist Assistant Manager/Manager in preparing comprehensive reports on incident reporting, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), fixes, and work in progress on key metrics and insights. • Respond to data-related inquiries from Senior Analyst and your inline Manager. • Maintain documentation of data sources, processes, and methodologies. • Support ad-hoc data requests, including historical corrections, client issue resolutions, and dataset enhancements.
