Accounting Manager
Uplinq
• Oversee the performance and deliverables of Senior Accounting Specialists, ensuring accuracy in month-end close, reporting, and advanced accounting tasks. • Conduct regular reviews of client books and validate transitions from catch-up/initialization to maintenance, ensuring accuracy, proper scoping, and clean handoffs. • Build, document, and refine SOPs and workflows aligned with Uplinq’s automation-first approach. • Mentor team members in accrual accounting, job costing, inventory, and class/location reporting. • Act as an escalation point for complex client issues and join key client meetings as needed. • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, strengthen integrations, and scale best practices.
Job Requirements
- Active CPA license required.
- 7+ years of accounting experience (small business or firm-based), with at least 3 years supervising or mentoring accounting professionals.
- Advanced QuickBooks Online expertise with complex workflows and third-party integrations.
- Deep knowledge of accrual accounting, GAAP, job costing, inventory, and class/location reporting.
- Proven track record of leading teams, improving processes, and driving quality.
