Role Description The Senior Cloud and Infrastructure Architect is responsible for defining and guiding the cloud, infrastructure, and platform architecture that underpins all products and data/AI workloads. This role ensures the environment is secure, scalable, reliable, and optimized for cost and performance across multiple cloud and hybrid deployments. Working Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM EST (Eastern Standard time) and 6 PM to 3 AM IST (Indian Standard Time) Budget: 130000 - 160000 USD per annum Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - Define the cloud and infrastructure architecture, including compute, storage, networking, and platform services. - Design reference architectures and patterns for microservices, container platforms, Kubernetes, and serverless workloads. - Partner with AI/data, application, and security teams to design infrastructure that supports high-scale data and AI systems. - Lead cloud modernization, migration, and consolidation initiatives across regions and business units. - Establish standards and best practices for reliability, observability, performance, and cost optimization. - Collaborate with security and compliance teams to implement robust identity, access, encryption, and network security controls. - Evaluate and select cloud services, infrastructure tools, and vendors; manage technical relationships where required. - Mentor infrastructure and platform engineers and support complex incident resolution and root-cause analysis. Qualifications - 10+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud architecture, or platform engineering roles. - Deep expertise with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and experience with multi-cloud or hybrid environments. - Strong background in Kubernetes, containers, infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform), and modern DevOps practices. - Proven experience designing highly available, resilient, and secure production environments. - Strong understanding of networking, security, observability, and performance optimization in cloud environments. - Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect) are a plus. • Lead end-to-end migration of cloud infrastructure from AWS to Azure • Assess current AWS architecture, dependencies, and workloads • Design and implement equivalent Azure-based solutions • Migrate core services, including: Compute (EC2 → Virtual Machines), Storage (S3 → Blob Storage), Serverless (Lambda → Azure Functions), Databases (RDS / DynamoDB → Azure SQL / Cosmos DB), Networking (VPC → Virtual Network) • Reconfigure identity and access management (IAM → Entra ID / RBAC) • Migrate monitoring and logging (CloudWatch → Azure Monitor) • Transition messaging and queueing systems (SQS / SNS → Azure Queue / Service Bus / Event Grid) • Implement infrastructure as code using Bicep or ARM templates • Migrate containerized workloads (ECS/EKS → AKS, ECR → Azure Container Registry) • Ensure security best practices and compliance throughout migration • Perform testing, validation, and optimization post-migration • Document architecture, processes, and handover guidelines

• Build scalable backend services • Extract and transform data from external databases • Integrate AI models • Interface with RPA tools to enable intelligent automation across systems

• Infraestructura como Código (IaC): Dominio de Terraform para gestionar recursos Azure de forma automatizadamodular y versionada. • Conocimiento en Bicep y ARM Templates como alternativas complementarias. • CI/CD Pipelines: Diseño e implementación de pipelines en Azure DevOps y GitHub Actions, incluyendo etapas de validación, aprobación, escaneo de seguridad y despliegue automático. • Gestión de Kubernetes (AKS): Administración de clústeres AKS con integración a Azure AD, políticas de red, autoscaling (HPA), y habilitación de Defender for Containers. • Seguridad en la nube (DevSecOps): Uso de herramientas como Checkov, tfsec, Gitleaks y TruffleHog para escaneo de IaC y secretos. • Configuración de PIM, revisiones de acceso (Azure AD Access Reviews) y MFA. • Observabilidad y monitoreo: Configuración de Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights y Microsoft Sentinel. Creación de alertas con KQL, dashboards operativos y reglas analíticas.
