We offer you a position where you will support and develop selected accounts in the defined sales territory, promoting Spinal Technologies (implants and biologics) while also partnering with the Capital Sales organization to drive adoption of enabling technologies (e.g., Navigation, 3D imaging, cranial and spinal robots, drills and related capital solutions). You will work closely with Sales Representative colleagues across the portfolio and collaborate very closely with the Technical Consultant(s) for Spine and Navigation supporting ENT, Cranial, and Spine procedures to bring our therapies closer to customers and patients. This role reports directly to the HUB Leader / Regional Leader for the Inland South HUB. Regular travel is expected. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: - Promote and sell Medtronic Cranial & Spinal Technologies solutions (Spine implants/biologics plus enabling technologies) within an assigned territory and/or customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets - Support clinical staff during procedures and trials with technical and workflow advice, ensuring safe and effective use of technologies - Work in close partnership with the Technical Consultant(s) for Spine and Navigation (ENT, Cranial, and Spine) to coordinate case coverage, deliver in-theatre technical support, and drive adoption of enabling technologies - Develop, build, and strengthen long-term relationships with stakeholders (clinical and non-clinical) across the account, including decision makers for both implants and capital equipment - Pursue and qualify leads, assess needs, and position the right therapy and technology mix; step in once a capital opportunity is identified and partner with the Capital Sales Leader and team through proposal, commercial discussions, and closure - Promote and provide training on Medtronic solutions; facilitate product demonstrations, workflow discussions, and support preparation of compelling clinical and commercial proposals - Collaborate closely with Sales Representative colleagues selling other products within the Medtronic Cranial & Spinal Technologies portfolio (e.g., Navigation, 3D imaging, ENT, cranial and spinal robots, drills, etc.) in the same accounts, aligning priorities and opportunity plans with the Capital Sales Leader - Monitor market dynamics and competitive activity, brief internal partners as appropriate, and use SFDC (or the agreed CRM) as the primary source for opportunity, funnel, and activity reporting Required Knowledge and Experience: - Bachelor’s degree (Life Sciences, Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, or related field) or equivalent combination of education and experience - Relevant sales/clinical support experience in medical devices (Spine/Cranial preferred); exposure to complex technologies and/or capital equipment (e.g., robotics, imaging, navigation) is highly desirable - Professional fluency in the required local language(s) and English, in writing and speech - Strong stakeholder management, relationship building, and communication skills; able to influence multiple decision makers - Team player with strong negotiation skills; able to work cross-functionally with sales reps and capital partners - Ability to work independently, manage territory priorities, and travel regularly - Full clean driver’s license (as required for the territory) We value clinical and/or technical background, but also experience in the OR environment.
