Associate Logistics Analyst

Ecolab has an opening for an Associate Logistics Analyst–Freight Payment and Audit. Under the direction of logistics leadership, and with accuracy, efficiency, and Ecolab’s best interest a priority, the analyst is accountable for supporting transportation execution activities. This role will support processes relating to freight pay and audit for North America Exports, Imports, and Cruise operations, and will act as a first point of contact for freight pay & audit interacting directly with carrier partners. What You Will Do: - Oversee freight invoices for North America exports, imports, and Cruise for Ecolab and Nalco. - Investigate invoice processing issues, identify root causes, and support resolution to ensure 98% on-time payment. - Manage email inbox for new invoices and questions from carrier partners and internal teams. - Partner with carriers to manage monthly SOA reports and resolve open invoices. - Partner with AP and auditing teams internally to correct any invoice errors. - Identify trends and escalate if support is needed at a broader level to maintain on-time payment. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in progress in Supply Chain, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. - Intermediate Microsoft Suite skills, particularly Excel and Outlook. - Fluent in English. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. - Ability to balance daily work, urgent issues, and follow‑up tasks. - Comfortable asking questions and working with different teams. - Strong analytical skills. Preferred Qualifications - 1-2 years of previous work experience in supply chain, logistics, freight pay, or related field. - Experience with international shipments. - Experience working with carriers, vendors, or logistics partners. - Experience reviewing Statements of Account (SOA’s). - Ability to work well in ambiguous situations. - Ability to exercise independent judgment and to work in teams. - Interest or experience in process improvement, standardization, or project support. - Prior experience using SAP and TMS applications.
