• Work cross-functionally with product, design, and other engineering counterparts to execute on product and business strategy to build novel products and features • Drive, lead, and contribute to the full development cycle: technical design, development, test, experimentation, analysis, and launch. • Discuss and align technical specifications and implementation details with other engineers, including cross-team engineers. • Write clean, testable and maintainable code to implement the features • Perform tech design and code reviews and mentor other engineers • Advocate and participate in efforts to advance Airbnb’s engineering processes and technical foundations.
Job Requirements
- 6+ years of industry experience
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree, preferably in CS, or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in at least one major programming language (such as Java/Kotlin).
- Experience in building large and scalable systems, such as high-traffic systems, big volume data processing etc.
- Ability to evaluate technical approaches and design product solutions to solve real-world problems.
- Mentorship to junior developers
- Fluent communication in both English and Chinese.
