• Translate high-level initiatives and requirements from Product Management into detailed, actionable technical requirements and crystal-clear acceptance criteria. • Improve and structure the product backlog in close coordination with the PM. • Support Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) by deriving high-quality scenarios (e.g., in Gherkin syntax) directly from the requirements. • Own the "glossary" and domain terminology, structuring the internal knowledge base (Confluence). • Gather inputs from PMs, Designers, Devs & QA, converting them into clarified business logic. • Provide Developers and QA with specified logic and edge cases, returning prepared requirements to the PM for review.

• Preparation of structural designs for sanitation systems (water/sewage treatment plants, pumping stations, reservoirs, intake systems, among others, for both localized and linear projects). • Sizing and structural calculations for mixed infrastructure and superstructure elements (earthworks, retaining structures, foundations, beams, slabs, reservoirs, buried pipelines, and all other necessary components). • Feasibility analysis of the client's initial proposals, providing technical diagnostics and recommended alternatives. • Coordination and integration with other disciplines involved in the project. • Technical and economic feasibility analysis of proposed solutions. • Supervision of teams involved in project development. • Ensure compliance with technical standards, client requirements, regulatory rules, and safety practices during project development and execution. • Preparation of technical packages for bidding and contract execution of works. • Interface with clients, suppliers, and other engineers across disciplines. • Preparation of technical reports and management of documentation required for project approvals.

Role Description Daikin Comfort Technologies Mfg is seeking a professional, skilled individual for our Engineer Applications (HVAC VRV/VRF) position located remotely, but local to the West Coast Division. This position forms part of the Applications team and is responsible for front line application engineering to help expand the use of Daikin products in the North American HVAC marketplace. Core functions include project level support to the Daikin Business Unit sales team and our network of manufacturer Reps/Distributors. In addition, to execute tactics to strengthen the spec-in ratio and conversion of all appropriate projects to Daikin products and technologies.
