• Manage the Zoetis Beef business in eastern South Dakota • Call on Stocker/Backgrounders, Cow/Calf producers, Veterinarians, Dealers, and Distributor Representatives • Quantify and qualify differences among Zoetis products and those of competitors • Conduct educational training and exhibit selling skills at accounts and producer seminars • Build relationships and influence within key trade channels including veterinarians, distributors, extension, and university personnel • Manage a broad geographic area with a diverse customer base to achieve sales targets and business objectives • Perform territory planning & priority setting through data analysis • Share, collaborate and act as a team player • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned and directed.
Job Requirements
- Undergraduate degree (BS/BA) and/or equivalent experience
- Master’s in animal science or equivalent degree is a plus
- A minimum of 6 months of cattle related experience preferred for Associate Territory Business Manager
- A minimum of 3 years of cattle related experience for a Territory Business Manager
- Animal Health experience and knowledge of Beef industry is preferred
- Ability and willingness to travel overnight approximately at least 25% of the time to include some weekends
- In-depth product and disease knowledge
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word applications.
