THE ROLE: The Director, Social role is ultimately responsible for building and managing a high-performing team that handles Strategy, Planning, and Activation to best service their clients. Their top priorities are strong client growth/retention and employee growth/retention. The Director, Social should be able to lead the team to deliver excellent paid social strategy and performance recommendations for their clients based on DEPT’s best practices. They are effective communicators who can inspire and motivate teams to achieve and exceed client goals based on their deep understanding of the ins and outs of their clients’ businesses and they proactively bring innovative strategy, holistic ideas, and leadership to help clients meet their overarching business goals. Reports to: Group Director, Client Partnership WHAT YOU’LL DO: - Develop the social expertise of your direct reports, providing mentorship, feedback and coaching on paid social best practices - Maintaining a strong understanding of the holistic business for each client in their portfolio - Orchestrate collaboration and implementation for flawless execution of paid social campaign strategy, planning and activation - Possess a deep working knowledge of Facebook/Instagram, and have a strategic perspective on how to achieve client business goals - Stay up-to-date on best practices to ensure their track is adopting best practices and testing recommendations prioritized by the agency - Serve as a point of escalation for all clients within your portfolio - understanding when to step-in with a client, coach the team on any processes/next steps to mitigate issues, determine what ancillary services/teams should be pulled in, or navigate solutions with legal/finance in partnership with the Group Director, etc. - Manage all major deliverables and presentations for your client portfolio (executive presentations, FBRs/QBRs, annual review, strategy meetings, etc) to ensure teams are delivering high-quality, innovative strategy - with a consistent storyline to push the client’s business and goals forward. - Ensure successful onboarding of all new clients within your track - overseeing initial overarching strategy, account management/collaboration process is set up for success, and client interactions and performance are off to a healthy start. - Scale layers of management and ensuring career pathing/goals are being established for every member of your team. - Identify succession plans for your team and cultivating talent development for upward mobility. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, expertise, physical location, and organizational impact. This is based on a 40-hour workweek and leveling. Liftoff is seeking a talented Advertising Content Associate to join a new and growing team. Our ideal candidate has a track record of working collaboratively with colleagues, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize time to meet deadlines for multiple projects. Responsibilities include: - Draft fundraising and acquisition copy for ads across multiple platforms such as Meta, Google, X, YouTube, Reddit, etc; - Providing top-quality customer service to clients, including regular ads reporting; - Build and manage weekly reports, produce recommendations, and provide insights; - Draft, execute and report on landing page, copy, and user experience tests; - Ensure that all areas where mistakes commonly happen, like missing punctuation, incorrect links/sourcing/names, or missed edits from managers, partners, or clients are incorporated - Analyze overall program performance and recommend strategies to hit and exceed client goals; ensure topics going out for all clients are working, relevant and mission-oriented - Advise clients on industry best practices and emerging strategies; - Manage client review process, including editing, redrafting, and quality-control review; - Ensure ActBlue landing pages and backend landing pages across company clients are optimized through A/B testing for ads (copy, branding, innovative strategies) Experience we look for: - Passion for good causes, whether candidates or other; - 1-4 years of work experience with at least 1 campaign cycle of experience in a dedicated digital fundraising role. - Experience using one of the following email CRMs: NGP, Everyaction, Actionkit - Experience working at an agency; working with or at non-profits or political/issue campaigns. - Basic understanding of performance marketing and lifecycle marketing. - Experience building and executing project plans to achieve fundraising and communications goals - Ability to juggle multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment - Excellent quantitative reasoning skills and ability to apply data to strategic decisions Salary and Benefits: The salary for this position is $55,000-$65,000 We also offer a generous benefits package: - Unlimited vacation after 90 days of employment, as well as paid sick leave - Federal holidays off (11-12 total days, Indigenous Peoples Day in off-cycle years) - Employer-paid health, dental, and vision insurance - Flexible work schedules and the option to work remotely anywhere within the United States and its territories with broadband internet - Annual professional development stipend - 401k benefits with match after six months of employment Our Hiring Process: We aim to be transparent and efficient in our hiring process.
