Junior .NET Software Engineer
WEX
• Contributes to team success through understanding of team's technical area and processes • Learning how to break down feature work into understandable, workable units for WEX Health teams • Team Collaboration Support applications during business hours • Research issues and Service Requests to engage discussions with, and propose solutions to your teammates • Support production deployments, which occur on evenings and weekends • Troubleshoot, evaluate, and propose solutions to resolve issues that arise • Participate in team meetings and learn from feature discussions • Understand designs that have been created from existing features • Develop solutions, with guidance from teammates, that can be performant, scalable, consistent and supportable • Build relationships with Architects, Software Engineers, Quality Assurance Engineers and Business Analysts to collaborate on design and delivery decisions
Job Requirements
- 0 - 2 years of relevant experience typical in this role
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- Knowledge of tools and programming languages defined by Development Managers specific to their teams
- Basic understanding of Software Development Fundamentals and Process, Design, Documentation, Testing, and tools
- Willingness to learn in distributed team environment
- Effective oral and written communication skills
