Our rapidly growing global team is currently distributed between our offices in NYC, Los Angeles, Lyon, Mexico City and Paris. About the Role Upfluence is looking for a highly motivated People & Operations Coordinator to join our remote team based in Mexico City. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle and supporting day-to-day operations across the organization. Some of the key responsibilities include: Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Talent Acquisition - Implement recruitment strategies that attract and engage top-tier professionals. - Own the full recruitment cycle: talent sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding. - Partner with department leaders to define staffing needs and craft compelling, accurate job descriptions. - Create and publish job listings across job boards, LinkedIn, and other relevant social media platforms. - Evaluate candidates through structured screening and interviews; conduct thorough reference and background checks. - Coordinate and facilitate interviews alongside hiring managers, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for all parties. - Lead proactive outbound recruitment efforts to identify and engage passive talent. - Manage the offer negotiation and onboarding process, ensuring a smooth start for every new hire. - Oversee the offboarding process, ensuring a respectful and well-organized transition for departing employees. HR & Administration - Develop, refine, and optimize internal processes to improve efficiency across the organization - Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for all Mexico-based employees. - Develop, maintain, and communicate clear office policies and procedures to all staff. - Organize and maintain records and files, both physical and digital, ensuring accuracy and accessibility. - Assist in the planning and execution of company events, team initiatives, and special projects. - Provide responsive general support to staff across the organization. Requirements - 2+ years of experience in recruitment, HR coordination, or office management (dual experience preferred). - Proven ability to manage the end-to-end recruitment process independently. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English. - Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously. - Experience using ATS platforms, HR systems, and job boards. - Based in Mexico City (CDMX) — required for this remote role. - Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable working autonomously in a remote environment. Overview The Acquisitions Support Specialist provides acquisition and procurement support services to the Department of the Interior (DOI), Indian Affairs (IA) Central Office in support of programs administered by the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) and Bureau of Indian Education (BIE). The position requires demonstrated experience supporting federal acquisition processes, compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and coordination with contracting officials in a highly regulated environment. Place of Performance/Hours of Operation The Acquisitions Support Specialist will provide services in a remote capacity (i.e., professional home office), Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., except for federal holidays. Summary of Responsibilities The Acquisitions Support Specialist will provide professional acquisition support services to ensure timely, compliant, and effective procurement actions for Indian Affairs programs. Qualifications The Acquisitions Support Specialist must demonstrate qualifications and experience: - Working-level proficiency with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the Department of the Interior Acquisition Regulation (DIAR). - Working-level knowledge of requirements related to the Buy Indian Act and how its mandates are implemented through acquisition strategies and contractual mechanisms. - Experience supporting multiple requirement types, including Construction, A&E, Supplies, and Services—consistent with IA acquisition operations that manage all such categories. - Functional experience using PRISM, the IA contract-writing system, to perform acquisition-specific tasks. - Experience supporting labor-hour, task order–based contracts. - Strong written and verbal communication skills for acquisition documentation. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite tools.
