Senior Full Stack Developer

HeroSoftware GmbH - Shopify Apps

• Planning, architecture and development of new features for our SaaS platform (ticketing system, AI automation, multi-channel inbox, returns portal, Help Center, live chat) • Full-stack development with Next.js 15 (App Router), React 19, TypeScript and PostgreSQL • Integration of AI models (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google GenAI) including Function Calling, RAG and streaming • Connecting third-party systems (Shopify, Stripe, Gmail, WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, Slack, DHL, JTL, Klaviyo) via REST and GraphQL interfaces • Development and optimization of our multi-channel communication (email, WhatsApp, Instagram DMs, Facebook Messenger, live chat) • Ensuring performance, code quality and scalability in a multi-tenant architecture • Implementing modern UI components with Tailwind CSS v4, Radix UI and Framer Motion • Contributing to our Visual Workflow Builder (ReactFlow) for automated response logic

Job Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in full-stack development
  • Strong knowledge of TypeScript, React, Next.js (App Router) and Node.js
  • Solid expertise with PostgreSQL (queries, migrations, connection pooling)
  • Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs as well as OAuth2 flows
  • Understanding of AI/LLM integration (OpenAI API, streaming, Function Calling) — or a strong willingness to learn
  • Experience with Tailwind CSS and component-based UI libraries (Radix UI, shadcn or similar) (bonus)
  • Experience with Shopify APIs, Stripe Billing, Cloudflare R2, or messaging APIs (WhatsApp Business, Instagram Graph API) (bonus)
  • Knowledge of vector databases (Qdrant) and RAG systems
  • Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
  • Enjoy working in a team, technical exchange and taking responsibility
  • German at native level + good English, written and spoken
