• Perform daily Operations in CSG's VMware Virtualization environment. • Actively involve in Cloud modernization projects to transform traditional infrastructure into automated, resilient, and cloud-native platforms. • Administer and maintain VMware vSphere, ESXi hosts, vCenter, and related Virtualization components. • Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability, proactively address potential issues. • Implement patches, upgrades, and configuration changes to ensure compliance and security. • Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions for Virtualized workloads. • Collaborate with Network, Storage, and application teams to optimize infrastructure. • Document procedures, configurations, and system changes for operational consistency. • Provide support for virtualization-related incidents and service requests. • Ensure security, compliance, and governance in cloud operations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in VMware Virtualization administration.
  • Strong knowledge in VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and related tools.
  • Experience in managing and administering VMware ESXi hosts and vCenter environment.
  • Experience in VM provisioning, cloning, templates, and snapshots.
  • Experience in cluster management (HA, DRS) in VMware Virtualization environment.
  • Experience in VMware vRealize Operations or similar monitoring tools.
  • Familiarity with Storage systems, Networking concepts, and Windows/Linux server administration.
  • Knowledge on virtual networking concepts (vSwitches, distributed switches).
  • Knowledge in automation, and scripting (PowerCLI, PowerShell preferred).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across compute, network, and storage layers.
  • Experience in handling incidents, root cause analysis (RCA).
  • Experience with capacity planning and environment optimization.
  • Having knowledge in Azure DevOps, CI/CD Pipelines, Git, AWS/Azure cloud, Automation, Containerization technologies would be an added advantage.
  • VMware certifications (VCP or higher) are a plus.
