About the role We are seeking an HR Operations Specialist to support the delivery of a scalable, efficient, and high-quality people function at Learning Pool. This role will be responsible for managing core HR processes, ensuring operational excellence across the employee lifecycle, and supporting business growth in a fast-paced, acquisitive SaaS environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate HR data, optimising systems and processes, and delivering a consistent and high-quality employee experience. You will work closely with the HR team and wider business stakeholders to ensure HR operations effectively support organisational objectives. What you will be doing Roles and responsibilities include: - Manage day-to-day HR operations. - Maintain and optimise HR systems (HRIS), ensuring data accuracy, reporting capability, and process efficiency - Support payroll inputs, benefits administration, and compliance with local employment legislation - Own and continuously improve HR processes, policies, and documentation to drive consistency and scalability - Provide reporting and insights on key HR metrics (headcount, attrition, etc.) to support decision-making - Act as a key point of contact for HR queries, ensuring a high standard of service delivery across the business - Support HR activities related to acquisitions, including due diligence data preparation and onboarding of new employees into systems and processes - Assist with the integration of acquired businesses by aligning HR data, policies, and processes with group standards Who we are looking for The successful candidate will demonstrate: - Proven experience: You will have experience in an HR Operations, HR Generalist, or similar role within a fast-paced environment - HR expertise: You will have a strong understanding of HR processes, systems, and employment legislation - Industry exposure: Experience working in a SaaS, technology, or high-growth business is preferred - M&A exposure: You will ideally have exposure to M&A activity and post-acquisition integration - Organisation & detail: You will be highly organised with strong attention to detail and a process-driven mindset - Stakeholder management: You will be confident working cross-functionally and managing a range of stakeholders - Adaptability: You will be proactive, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a changing environment Working at Learning Pool The Learning Pool team is filled with people who have a real passion for what they do and a fresh approach to partnering with customers.
