FISINT Analyst

BTS

• Conduct analysis and reporting on Foreign Instrumentation Signals Intelligence (FISINT) telemetry data, specifically, uplink traffic. • Measure and discern the level of threat posed by the collection platform and inform higher commands of critical threat information in a timely manner. • Short notice CONUS and OCONUS travel (to possible conflict areas) to disseminate relevant threat information. • Research unclassified and classified databases for use in written products. • Provide research support for analysts to produce Intelligence Community reports and briefings as well as direct support to current operations. • Research, author, and coordinate threat assessments to support the Commander and/or leaders in the U.S. civilian intelligence community. • Present, discuss, and defend assessments to intelligence and technical communities. • Contribute to the development and maintenance of analytical policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

  • Must have experience conducting FISINT analysis.
  • Knowledge of and ability to perform research and development on uplink telemetry signals.
  • Skilled at providing Indications and Warning and trend analysis data on target devices and TTPs.
  • Knowledge of current events in targeting, customs, historical, assessment, and pattern analysis processes.
  • Ability to generate/provide specialized analytical products.
  • Ability to search/screen all media sources and provide intelligence assessment of impacts.
  • Proficient in utilizing standard MS Office computer applications and intelligence related automation to support analytical efforts and product development.
  • Proficient in utilizing specialized intelligence tools to create final products.
  • Possess strong research, analytical, and writing skills as well as briefing skills to clearly articulate information to different audiences.
  • Capable of operating as a member of an analytical team from a remote location in support of CJOA requirements.
  • Experience providing intelligence support regarding challenges within the CENTCOM AOR or other specific COCOMs.
  • Training and Testing background helpful.
