Instructional Designer

• Lead the design of educational strategies aligned with business and learning objectives, acting consultatively with clients and subject-matter experts. • Define methodologies, ensure pedagogical coherence, coordinate the production of interactive and inclusive content, monitor results, and drive continuous innovation in training. • Understand client needs as well as learners' needs and learning objectives; • Define learning objectives in collaboration with the client; • Define teaching methods and assessment methodologies based on psychological and educational studies to create effective learning experiences; • Curate references and source materials before beginning content creation and development; • Develop instructional content (for classroom and digital training), activities, and interactive resources that are relevant to learners, promoting knowledge retention and application; • Design interactive instructional resources aimed at engaging learners, creating scripts/materials for different formats and media (storyboards, podcasts, infographics, videos, manuals, e-books, and other content deliverables); • Create effective assessments to ensure content retention, using creative methodologies (storytelling, gamification, etc.); • Ensure pedagogical coherence and technical quality of materials by reviewing language, flow, accessibility, usability, and suitability for the target audience; • Evaluate training content to provide feedback and continuous improvements to developed materials; • Implement feedback and improvement suggestions following client reviews; • Research and select references and relevant content to support educational materials, acting consultatively with content specialists to develop more technical content; • Supervise other professionals involved in project development and propose visual and pedagogical improvements to produced materials, always focusing on user experience; • Possess UX/UI knowledge oriented toward creating interactive, user-friendly, and effective training; • Validate and conduct final project versions with the objective of rehearsing the learner’s final experience when taking the training; • Monitor trends and explore new tools, technologies, and pedagogical strategies to improve internal processes and training development; • Apply accessibility and inclusion principles focused on solutions that work for different profiles and contexts; • Measure and monitor area performance through indicators and targets;
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress, preferably in Languages, Pedagogy, or related fields.
- Previous experience in educational content production.
- Previous experience as an Instructional Designer.
- Knowledge of distance education (e-learning) and active learning methodologies.
- Strong writing skills, organization, and attention to detail.

• Conduct in-home consultations for KOHLER Walk-In Bathtubs and LuxStone Shower Systems. • Deliver exceptional customer experience while representing P.J. Fitzpatrick. • Work primarily in the Columbia, SC and North Augusta, SC territory.
• Design and develop high-quality, professional presentations with a focus on delivering messages visually in a clear and impactful way, while supporting the visual identity of projects. • Design and develop professional presentations using PowerPoint. • Transform content and ideas into clear visual stories. • Develop presentation templates. • Ensure visual identity consistency across all presentations. • Collaborate with management, product, and marketing teams. • Enhance the quality of presentations in terms of design and visual flow. • Supervise the quality of final deliverables.
