The Performance Engineer II provides a broad range of performance support focused on MTU-owned components; the low pressure turbine and high pressure compressor front block, as well as the flying fuel cell. • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and daily plant checks, ensuring all equipment is safe, operational and well maintained. • Maintain and service mechanical and electrical systems such as AHUs, AC systems, emergency lighting, fire alarms and generators. • Perform small-scale installation works where required. • Always maintain a safe working environment, adhering to HCA Healthcare policies and procedures. • Complete water hygiene control tasks (flushing, temperature monitoring) in line with the Water Risk Assessment, ensuring accurate record keeping. • Manage on-site contractors, reviewing RAMs and issuing permits to work. • Respond promptly to tasks logged on the CAFM system (Engineering Central), prioritising workload effectively. • Provide rapid response to emergency and reactive maintenance requests. • Assist with Estates projects and improvement works as needed. • Participate in the on-call rota (1 in 5). • Ensure plant areas remain clean, tidy and safe.

• Responsible for working with leadership to shape the technical direction of the program, while gaining exposure into people management • Provides coaching and development to engineering team members, and works with leadership to define growth goals and development plans • Serves as a mentor, supporting one or two teams' Engineers in technical direction and career management • Leads team processes and seeks out best practices to fill gaps • Develops collaboration skills to partner with key stakeholders to represent the engineering practice in advocating for the best technical solutions while communicating tradeoffs • Development of effective written communication and presentation skills to describe systems, design decisions, and past performance • May participate in bid-writing, tech demos, strategic planning, and other client-facing communications • Responsible for hiring, performance management, timecard reviews, PTO management and team development

• Perform the role of Lead SSA Engineer for the TraCSS System Integration and Cloud Management (SI/CM) team • Provide expert knowledge and experience in the space situational awareness domain to the TraCSS SI/CM team • Understand the various standard types and formats of data related to satellite ephemerides and meta-data and processes around orbital determination • Understand astrodynamics, conjunction analysis and risk assessment, trajectory planning and optimization • Be familiar with the operational environment for TraCSS or similar operational SSA systems
