• Reach out to potential new Brokers to build and develop relationships that result in an increased load count for the company. • Independently manage the negotiation process from discovery and qualification to execution. • Evaluate new requests and collaborate with product management and Partner Alliances team to create technical business case for decision. • Contact existing and new partners through cold calls, emails, and social; Host web meetings and perform product demonstrations or presentations. • Occasionally visit in-person with existing and prospective partners. • Occasionally attend industry exhibits. • Be an advocate for the brand, looking for opportunities to make the sale at a moment's notice. • Responsible for building and maintaining effective business relationships with new and existing partners. • Proactively, identify and engage mutually beneficial partnerships & alliances opportunities with new partners. • Collaborate with Partner Alliances team to establish business priorities to align business development strategy and execution to meet business goals. • Keep up to date with industry news.

Job Requirements

  • Perfect spoken and written English
  • Strong spoken and written French an asset
  • 3+ years of experience working in a combination of strategy, sales, business development and managing strategic relationships
  • Experience in the transportation and/or technology / SaaS industry is a great asset
  • Experience in the technology field (selling services, selling software, or consultative environment) is an asset
  • Proven experience in business development of new strategic relationships including concept generation, proposal development and negotiation
  • Experience with Salesforce and/or extensive knowledge of other similar CRMs
  • Strong demonstration of intellect, drive, executive presence and sales acumen
  • Proven experience building excellent client relationships at C-level within medium to large enterprise organizations
  • Strong computer proficiency and presentation skills
