How you'll make an impact in this role - This role functions as a high-level individual contributor within the backend acute revenue cycle team and collaborates with peer directors to bridge the strategic gap between hospital operations, the Consumer Experience department, and external vendors. - You will oversee the end-to-end enterprise strategy for the self-pay lifecycle including bad debt vendors to ensure optimal recovery and agency density. - This individual utilizes Lean, Six Sigma, or advanced analytics to track and optimize complex process hand-offs between the contact center, billing teams, and external partners to reduce friction in the patient billing journey. - You will serve as the shepherd for high-priority patient escalations submitted to the CEO and executive leadership by resolving immediate grievances and implementing systemic root-cause improvements to prevent recurrence. - This leader improves the patient experience by analyzing CSR calls and patient feedback to refine billing workflows and reduce friction in the revenue cycle process. What minimum requirements you'll need Education: - High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management. What additional preferences we're seeking - Candidates must offer extensive revenue cycle leadership experience within a large matrixed hospital system including the direct management of large-scale outsource organizations and complex self-pay ecosystems. - Proven expertise in performance tracking and process improvement is required to manage intricate operational hand-offs and present high-level strategic results to executive stakeholders. - The position requires a strong background in vendor management and revenue cycle operations.
