• Lead and mentor the Development teams • Translate product requirements into engineering-internal development plans • Management of bug triage and feature requests processes • Ensure development work aligns with priorities defined by product management • Track progress of tasks, epics, and releases • Identify blockers and ensure their timely resolution • Provide regular updates on development status, risks, and timelines • Ensure quality standards are met before release • Coordinate work with the engineering: development, QA, and technical documentation across the team • Manage the QA function for products • Maintain development processes and improve execution efficiency • Define and enforce best practices for coding, testing, and deployment • Maintain a high level of engagement in the development department • Owns, maintains a backlog, and ensure is clean, actionable, and up to date • Ensure the maintenance of team capacity, workload balance, engagement, and performance standards

• Develop, maintain, and improve VyOS – Open source router and firewall platform using Next.js, Vercel, and DatoCMS. • Design and implement new site features and interactive components to enhance user experience and engagement. • Manage and optimize content models, schemas, and workflows within DatoCMS to support scalable content management. • Oversee and maintain CI/CD pipelines across Vercel, GitHub, and DatoCMS, ensuring smooth, automated builds and deployments. • Monitor site performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure uptime, speed, and responsiveness across devices. • Collaborate with designers, content creators, and product teams to translate business goals into effective digital experiences. • Stay current with web technologies, frameworks, and best practices to continuously improve the site’s architecture and development workflow. • Contribute to documentation, process improvement, and knowledge sharing across the team.

• Develop new features and optimize existing code for VyOS, ensuring efficient and maintainable implementations. • Collaborate with developers to review and validate code changes, test feature implementations, and provide feedback on bugs, optimizations, and feature proposals. • Create technical content, including solution briefs, datasheets, and graphical materials, tailored to address specific networking use cases and technical requirements. • Design, deploy, and configure network infrastructures using VyOS and other networking equipment to meet project objectives and performance standards. • Design and deploy PoC scenarios using VyOS, documenting configuration setups, performance benchmarks, and solution viability for customer-specific requirements. • Diagnose and resolve network performance, security, and connectivity issues, utilizing advanced debugging and analysis tools. • Investigate escalated technical issues, conduct root cause analysis, and deliver reproducible solutions or detailed technical reports for development resolution. • Conduct functional, performance, and regression testing for VyOS features and fixes, creating and maintaining detailed test documentation. • Develop and manage automated test frameworks for repetitive test cases, enhancing testing accuracy and efficiency. • Enhance testing methodologies by introducing advanced tools and frameworks to optimize validation processes and outcomes. • Conduct interoperability testing with third-party systems to ensure seamless integration of VyOS into diverse networking environments. • Maintain a centralized knowledge base with detailed, technically accurate articles and solution documentation to support internal and external stakeholders.

• Implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information. • Identify and define system security requirements. • Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols. • Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices. • Design computer security architecture and develop detailed cyber security designs. • Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks. • Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes and propositions for further system security enhancement as well as ensure that the company knows as much as possible, as quickly as possible about security incidents.
