Role Description The Finance Analytics Engineer in the Finance department will support the delivery of data requests, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals of a streamlined data platform capable of supporting an AI-led organization. The Analytics Engineer will serve as a bridge between raw data, financial processes, and business decision making. In partnership with our IT Data Engineering team, this role is primarily responsible for developing analytics ready data models using SQL that serve as the foundation for Finance reporting, analytics, and AI enabled use cases. The ideal candidate combines strong analytics engineering fundamentals with the ability to translate finance and business questions into data solutions, including dashboards, data agents and ad-hoc analysis. This role sits within Finance, not IT, and is expected to operate as a hands on data partner to FP&A, Accounting, and other Finance users. Responsibilities - Partners with Finance stakeholders to understand business processes, analytical needs, and reporting requirements, translating them into scalable data solutions. - Collaborates with IT Data Engineering to align source systems, integrations, and transformations with Finance analytical requirements. - Leads business users in requirements gathering. - Coordinates end-to-end delivery of solutions to stakeholders – plan, prioritize, design, build and test. - Designs, documents, builds and maintains data pipelines and fact and dimension style data models aligned to Finance use cases. - Follows best practices and displays rigor and discipline regarding solution testing. - Builds reports, data agents, and dashboards on curated data models, emphasizing sustainability, consistency, and self service. - Follows data quality and visual standards to ensure data fits operational and analytic needs. - Provides ongoing production support, with the ability to effectively articulate issues to both technical and non-technical users. - Serves as a subject matter expert for data and processes within the Finance department and provides thought leadership in the cross-functional analytics space. - Presents solutions to many levels of leadership. - Explores and applies AI enabled capabilities within the analytics platform. - Embraces the opportunity to use new technology to deliver data requests. Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Analytics, Computer Programming, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Statistics is required, or a combination of education, training, and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. - Strong SQL skills required. - Strong understanding of data transformations and data quality concepts. - Experience working with analytical data warehouses. - Experience building analytics ready data models. - Development experience within a comprehensive analytics platform, Microsoft Fabric preferred. - Experience performing unit, integration, and user acceptance testing in partnership with business stakeholders. - Experience building dashboards and reporting using a modern analytics tool, Microsoft PowerBI preferred. - Experience working with Finance teams or financial data. - Oracle application experience a plus. - Experience in the use of AI to perform job functions. - Experience working in a fast-paced environment with demanding stakeholders. - Self-driven and comfortable with taking a lead role on initiatives. • Design, build and maintain critical visuals (PowerBI or Tableau dashboards, reports, etc.) for chassis sub-systems (brakes, steering, and suspension). • Establish data-architecture (for gold and platinum layers) in this chassis space. • Work with IT to source appropriate data-sets. • Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines to process data. • Build data quality monitoring processes to detect and resolve data anomalies. • Collaborate with chassis hardware and software designers, developers, and quality engineers to establish the best metrics to track and predict performance. • Collaborate with AI/ML scientists and other hardware and software engineers to build engineered features and data pipelines for prognostic and diagnostic algorithms. • Implement and oversee data governance policies to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance. • Ensure issues observed in your analysis are chased to closure by organizing meetings, creating issue reports, and reporting out to management. • Change-manage your digital products and their associated requirements. • Actively participate in analytics forums and cross-functional groups, sharing knowledge and insights within and beyond the chassis engineering domain.

The Master of Science in Lifestyle Health Sciences and Coaching (MSLS) program equips students with evidence-based strategies to improve patient outcomes. The Health Care Clinician Track, a specialized program within the department, integrates lifestyle medicine into clinical practice, enabling professionals to address the root causes of chronic disease and enhance long-term well-being. As the first graduate program in Texas to combine Lifestyle Medicine with Wellness Coaching, the department emphasizes a holistic approach to health education. Position Overview This adjunct faculty position plays a key role in introducing students to the foundations and practical application of Lifestyle Medicine within contemporary healthcare and wellness settings. The adjunct faculty member will teach an Introduction to Lifestyle Medicine course designed to equip students with a strong grounding in the evidence base, principles, and competencies promoted by the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM). Delivered in an online format, the course emphasizes the integration of lifestyle medicine approaches across clinical care, community health, workplace wellness, and personal practice environments.
