Data Science Specialist

CEA

• Develop and implement statistical, predictive and prescriptive models to optimize processes related to workforce management. • Explore and analyze large volumes of data to identify patterns, trends and improvement opportunities. • Create and validate optimization models for complex problems such as resource allocation, scheduling and capacity planning. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (IT, Operations, Business) to translate challenges into data-driven solutions. • Ensure quality, governance and documentation of developed models and pipelines. • Support the definition of metrics and KPIs for performance monitoring.

Job Requirements

  • Strong academic background in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or related fields.
  • Extensive experience in statistical modeling, machine learning and data analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python and data science libraries (pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow).
  • Knowledge of optimization solutions (Gurobi, PuLP, OR-Tools and/or Pyomo).
  • Experience with SQL and handling large databases.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to translate complex analyses into actionable insights.
  • Analytical and results-oriented profile.
  • Proactive and able to work in dynamic environments.
  • Good communication and collaboration across different areas.
  • Differentials:
  • Practical experience with optimization models applied to real-world problems.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies, especially AWS.
  • Experience with visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and MLOps environments.
