Data and BI Analyst, Python, SQL
Looqbox
• Understand client objectives and translate them into metrics, KPIs, and data requirements. • Develop reports and dashboards in Looqbox using Python and SQL, ensuring standardization and performance. • Implement and manage AI agents focused on data. • Conduct exploratory and ad-hoc analyses (cohorts, funnels, segmentations, performance variations, root-cause analysis). • Create and maintain the metrics semantic layer (definitions, business rules, dimensions) and documentation. • Data storytelling: prepare clear, actionable visualizations and recommendations. • Monitor tool adoption and client health using indicators; suggest product or usage improvements. • Perform troubleshooting and investigation to resolve data/query/performance issues. • Collaborate with the Project Manager and client stakeholders; attend meetings as needed. • Promote data visualization best practices and report standardization. • Support simple experiments (A/B tests, hypotheses and result interpretation).
Job Requirements
- Experience with Python (pandas, numpy; notebooks) and SQL (queries, basic optimization).
- Technical autonomy corresponding to Junior or Mid-level professional.
- Programming best practices: version control, documentation, refactoring.
- Descriptive statistics and basic inferential concepts (distributions, confidence intervals, basic hypothesis testing).
- Data visualization and storytelling (best-practice principles and clear communication).
- Intermediate English.
- Ability to translate business questions into analyses and assess risks/alternatives.
- Experience acting as a client focal point or in consulting roles.
- Code/query optimization and analytics modeling (dimensional modeling, semantic layers).
- Knowledge of served industries (retail, shopping centers/malls, pharmaceutical, construction) and domain metrics.
- Experience building and supporting data pipelines.
- Orchestration/ETL tools (Airflow) and version control (Git).
- Experience with non-relational databases.
- Experience with AI tools.
