Job Title: Full-Stack / Platform Engineer Salary: £90k + Equity Company Description: Handshaik - AI-native company intelligence platform backed by BigChange founder Martin Port. Job Description: Join a high-growth startup as a foundational engineer building an AI-native platform for M&A and private equity. You will own the entire technical lifecycle—from architecting Python/FastAPI backends and React frontends to managing AWS infrastructure and integrating LLMs via Bedrock. This role offers direct influence over the company’s technical future. Location: London, UK Why this role is remarkable: - Significant ownership as a foundational hire, working directly with the CTO and founders to define engineering standards and product roadmap. - High-performance technical stack involving AI-driven search, vector databases (pgvector), and agent-based workflows at the frontier of dealmaking technology. - Strong commercial backing from the BigChange ecosystem and Cambridge AI researchers, moving rapidly toward product-market fit with active early customers. What you will do: - Design, build, and operate a production SaaS platform using Python (FastAPI), React, and PostgreSQL, ensuring high performance and security. - Architect and scale cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform, ECS, and Lambda while maintaining multi-tenant security and ISO 27001 standards. - Develop and optimize hybrid search capabilities and data pipelines, integrating LLMs to automate complex research tasks for dealmakers. The ideal candidate: - 7+ years of experience building and shipping production-grade systems in startup or small-company environments with a strong bias for action. - Expert proficiency across the full stack, specifically Python, React/TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and hands-on AWS infrastructure management. - Proven ability to make sound architectural decisions independently and a genuine enthusiasm for leveraging AI to solve fragmented manual workflows. Who are Jack & Jill? Ok, I'll go first. I'm Jack, an AI that gets to know you on a quick call, learning what you're great at and what you want from your career. Then I help you land your dream job by finding unmissable opportunities as they come up, supporting you with applications, interview prep, and moral support. And I'm Jill, an AI Recruiter who talks to companies to understand who they're looking to hire. Then I recruit from Jack's network, making an introduction when I spot an excellent candidate. Next steps Step 1. Visit our website. Step 2. Click 'Talk to Jack'. Step 3. Talk to Jack so he can understand your experience and ambitions. Step 4. Jack will make sure Jill (the AI agent working for the company) considers you for this role. Step 5. If Jill thinks you're a great fit and her client wants to meet you, they will make the introduction. Step 6. If not, Jack will find you excellent alternatives. All for free. We never post fake jobs This isn't a trick. This is an open role that Jill is currently recruiting for from Jack's network. Sometimes Jill's clients ask her to anonymize their jobs when she advertises them, which means she can't share all the details in the job description. We appreciate this can make them look a bit suspect, but there isn't much we can do about it. Give Jack a spin! You could land this role. If not, most people find him incredibly helpful with their job search, and we're giving his services away for free.

Build a Safer World. TRM Labs provides blockchain analytics and AI solutions to help law enforcement and national security agencies, financial institutions, and cryptocurrency businesses detect, investigate, and disrupt crypto-related fraud and financial crime. TRM’s blockchain intelligence and AI platforms include solutions to trace the source and destination of funds, identify illicit activity, build cases, and construct an operating picture of threats. TRM is trusted by leading agencies and businesses worldwide who rely on TRM to enable a safer, more secure world for all. We are looking for an experienced Senior Frontend Platform Engineer to join a small but fast-growing Frontend Engineering team responsible for building the visualization and rendering systems that power TRM’s investigative platform. TRM’s product surfaces complex blockchain activity through interactive graph exploration, entity networks, and data-dense investigative interfaces. In this role, you will help build the core frontend platform and visualization infrastructure that allows analysts to explore large relational datasets and uncover illicit activity at scale. As an early member of the team, you will work on high-performance rendering systems, graph visualization, and reusable frontend infrastructure that powers TRM’s investigative workflows. The impact you’ll have here: - Design and build the visualization platform that powers TRM’s investigative interfaces, including graph exploration and large-scale data visualization. - Develop high-performance rendering systems using technologies such as Canvas, WebGL, and GPU-accelerated rendering to visualize complex datasets. - Build reusable visualization libraries, SDKs, and platform primitives that enable teams across TRM to build powerful data exploration experiences. - Participate in technical design discussions and code reviews to improve architecture, performance, and maintainability. - Develop a deep understanding of crypto and blockchain investigation workflows to inform product design and platform capabilities. - Help define the next generation of data exploration tools used by investigators and financial institutions worldwide. What we’re looking for: - Strong JavaScript and TypeScript fundamentals with experience building large-scale frontend systems. - Experience building data-dense web applications, such as analytics platforms, visualization tools, or mapping systems. - Hands-on experience with Canvas, WebGL, or GPU-accelerated rendering. - Experience working with data visualization libraries such as D3, PixiJS, Three.js, or similar tools. - Experience building or working with graph / network visualization systems, using tools like D3-force, Cytoscape.js, vis.js, Sigma.js, or similar. - Familiarity with graph layouts such as force-directed, hierarchical, or radial layouts. - Experience optimizing performance in complex UIs using techniques such as: virtualization, viewport culling Web Workers, and large-dataset rendering optimization - Experience designing reusable frontend systems, SDKs, component libraries, or developer platforms. - Strong computer science fundamentals including data structures and algorithmic thinking. - Experience with React and modern frontend frameworks. About the Team: - The team operates on a weekly sprint schedule. Individuals on the team are tasked to lead projects as technical anchors, and given a chance to grow and take ownership according to their level and goals. - We work closely with product, design, and with our engineering partners in data platform teams to deliver impactful features to customers and the company. - The team’s timezone is a mix of EST and PST, with at least 6 hours of overlap with PST (8 am to 2 pm PST). - On Call: We have an on-call rotation that is approximately one week every 16 weeks. - Frontend usually doesn't get pager duty alerts but gets frontend issues from customer support channels and the on-call is responsible for triaging if it is a frontend bug or sometimes really a backend issue. - It gets busy during some on-call weeks but has not been wake-up from sleep type of alerts. Learn about TRM Speed in this position: - Ruthless Prioritization & Adaptability: We adapt quickly when faced with new information. For example, an engineer may message the PM or EM to prioritize Task A vs. Task B in the middle of the sprint – we don’t let inertia guide our decisions. Instead we focus on ruthless prioritization and pivot quickly as needed. - Challenging Timelines (Execution Pressure): An engineer questions a teammate’s proposed 3-week timeline, and constructively argues for condensing it to 2 weeks—backed by rationale, tradeoffs, and a plan to reduce scope or increase velocity. They show ownership of delivery speed and willingness to push for urgency. - Time-Boxed Spiking (Rapid Learning & Decision-Making): An engineer proposes a 1-week spike with a clear time-box and success criteria to explore implementation options or validate feasibility through a proof of concept. They demonstrate speed not just in execution, but in de-risking decisions early. The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role: - Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The compensation details listed in this posting reflect the US base salary only. - The estimated base salary range for this role is $200,000 - $220,000. - Additionally, this role may be eligible to participate in TRM’s equity plan. - Please note – we factor in the different costs for geographies outside the United States. The Operator Who Turns Digital Care Into a Reliable, Scalable Experience Do you see architecture where others see friction? Do you instinctively map Epic workflows, identity flows, and integration boundaries before discussing features? Have you ever walked into a MyChart implementation and thought, ‘I know exactly how this should be structured’? At Ovatient, we are building a virtual-first care model that works because the platform works — reliably, seamlessly, and at scale across health systems and employer partners. We are not building another digital front door. We are building a Digital Health Home™ embedded within Epic — deeply integrated with health systems and employer partners. As we scale, the strength and clarity of our platform services and user experience will determine our success. This role owns that future. The Opportunity We are seeking a Head of Platform Services & User Experience to own the digital backbone of our patient and clinical experience. This is structured platform ownership with operational accountability. You will own the digital experience, integration architecture, platform reliability, and implementation mechanics that allow Ovatient to scale predictably across partners. This is a “both-and” leadership role–you will define architecture and roadmap while also rolling up your sleeves to drive implementations, triage platform issues, and stabilize operations as we grow. Until additional layers are built, you will operate both strategically and tactically. You will work in close partnership with the CMIO, who owns clinical governance and safety, while you own platform design, technical execution, and operational reliability. If you are energized by turning digital complexity into operational clarity and building systems that seamlessly and reliably work, we should talk. What You’ll Own Digital Product Ownership – Patient & Clinical UX This includes both patient-facing experiences and internal operational tools that support clinical and care delivery teams as well as owning the end-to-end digital experience across MyChart, Digital Health Home™ / MyCare Anywhere™, and Employer partner deployments, including: - Onboarding flows - Identity & authentication - Scheduling - Virtual visit mechanics - Messaging - Notifications - Education delivery infrastructure - Accessibility standards - Conversion and drop-off optimization - Experience KPIs and performance measurement Platform Services Operations & Reliability Own platform performance and service discipline, including: - Uptime and performance - Vendor escalation pathways - Incident command - Postmortems and root-cause analysis - Change and release governance - Release readiness - Go-Live and Hypercare support - Engage in ticket triage, escalation management, and incident coordination when needed Epic / MyChart Integrations & Interoperability Architecture Design and execute the technical integration framework that supports clinical workflow and data priorities, including: - Integration architecture and intent (not Epic build execution) - Interface strategy (FHIR, HL7, SMART, OAuth) - Identity and authorization (SSO, token persistence, cross-system session management) - Data exchange design - Environment strategy across development, testing, and production - Repeatability and scalability across partners - Guardrails for what lives in Epic vs. outside Epic Customer Onboarding & Implementation (Discovery through Stabilization) Own implementation structure, sequencing, and timeline control across customers and employer partners, including: - Requirements gathering (technical & operational) - Configuration coordination - Testing & UAT orchestration - Go-live planning - Non-clinical training logistics - Transition from Hypercare to steady-state operations - At our current stage, you will directly lead key implementations and personally drive critical requirements sessions, UAT coordination, and go-live command when needed Platform Roadmap & Prioritization - Define and govern the unified roadmap, backlog, and prioritization framework - Influence technology platform partners’ feature decisions - Translate friction into durable product improvements - Establish KPI-driven prioritization discipline Vendor Management & Platform Governance - Vendor performance management - SLAs - Delivery commitments - Escalation discipline - Roadmap alignment - Replacement optionality What You Bring - 8+ years in digital health, healthcare IT, or Epic-integrated environments - Demonstrated experience with Epic / MyChart integrations - Fluency in interoperability (FHIR, HL7, SMART, OAuth) - Experience leading platform reliability and release governance - Experience onboarding enterprise healthcare customers - Strong documentation and process discipline - Proven ability to translate technical architecture into executive-ready clarity - Experience influencing vendors and cross-system stakeholders - Comfort operating without layers and moving between executive strategy and tactical execution Skills & Attributes - Systems thinker who sees patterns beyond tickets - Operator-builder who stabilizes today while structuring tomorrow - Skilled executive communicator able to translate complex infrastructure concepts into actionable insights for tech and non-technical stakeholders - Comfortable with accountability - Low-ego, high-discipline collaborator who deftly navigates healthcare legacy systems to drive process improvements alongside strategic partners - Thrives in complexity and growth environments Why You’ll Love Working Here - Competitive compensation and benefits - 401(k) with company match from Day 1 - Flexible, remote-first work environment with modern collaboration tools - Professional development and leadership growth opportunities - The chance to directly influence the operational success of a cutting-edge, virtual-first care model - A collaborative, mission-driven team that values mutual respect, empowered accountability, persistence, boldness, and belonging If you’re ready to architect what matters, operate where it counts, and turn digital complexity into reliable care at scale — let’s talk.

Your creative field We are looking for a full-time, permanent Teamlead Platform (all genders) to start as soon as possible. We live remote-first, but you have the freedom to choose whether you want to work hybrid or completely on-site due to your proximity to one of our locations. Our platform forms the technical foundation of our most important and revenue-driving product — and with that, a direct lever for Contabo’s overall development. As Team Lead Platform, you ensure that this foundation remains stable, evolves in a meaningful way, and is operated with pragmatic decision-making. Changes here have an impact at datacenter scale, not on a single environment — which is why you keep the overview, set clear priorities, and make sure that adjustments are rolled out in a controlled, step-by-step manner. In this role, you lead an experienced team of Platform Engineers and a Platform Architect. You bring structure to workflows, create transparency within the Kanban process, prevent unnecessary “fire-and-forget” changes, and help your team stay focused even when multiple topics are running in parallel. At the same time, you remain hands-on enough to stay close to the systems and decisions — without sliding into day-to-day micromanagement. Beyond daily operations, you work on initiatives that secure long-term stability and efficiency: you ensure that metrics and data become reliably usable, forecasting becomes possible, and processes no longer depend on individual knowledge. You combine technical depth with economic reasoning and act as a sparring partner for architectural decisions — not as a blocker, but as someone who evaluates impact, risk and priorities clearly and constructively. The success of this role is clearly defined: the evolution of our platform and its surrounding mechanisms enables the evolution of the entire company. When your work delivers impact, products scale predictably, processes become repeatable, and Contabo continues to grow on a stable foundation. What convinces us Your personality, paired with: Must-haves - 1–3 years of team lead experience in a technical environment - Several years of experience operating complex platform infrastructures - Strong expertise in Proxmox - Solid hands-on experience with Linux and Ansible - Ability to manage multiple topics in parallel, set priorities, and bring structure to ongoing processes - High level of ownership and decision-making capability, paired with a pragmatic and economically minded approach - Very good command of English, written and spoken Should-haves - Experience with Ceph (or comparable distributed storage systems) - Monitoring knowledge, e.g., Zabbix - Scripting skills (e.g., Python) - Experience in a hosting or datacenter environment Nice-to-haves - Experience in process optimization (e.g., ITIL) - Background in scale-ups or fast-growing tech environments - Understanding of cost optimization and capacity planning Awesome Prospects At Contabo, we are constantly evolving. Our growth creates space for new ideas, ownership, and real impact for people who want to make a difference. What defines us is trust, direct communication, and an open feedback culture. We believe the best solutions are built together and that everyone has the opportunity to contribute, grow, and leave their own footprint. Additionally, we offer: - Work the way that fits your life – Remote or hybrid with flexible hours for a healthy work-life balance and the same technical equipment at home as in the office - Experience real freedom – Workation across the EU and in our summer office in Mallorca - Stay active and healthy – Access to EGYM Wellpass and thousands of fitness and wellness facilities - Enjoy exclusive perks – Attractive discounts on many products and services through our corporate benefits program - Recharge your energy – 30 days of vacation plus additional days off on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve - Give back – An extra day off to get involved in social activities through our Volunteer Day - Make an impact – Take ownership and bring your ideas to life with real creative freedom - Keep growing – Individual professional and personal development opportunities in an innovative tech environment - Feel comfortable where you work – Modern, conveniently located offices across our European locations - Be part of a diverse team – Work in an international environment shaped by diversity - Create lasting memories – Company events and team activities you won’t forget How to reach us If you have any questions, you can reach out to Max by email at maximilian.kasemir@contabo.de.
