• Design visuals for Unexplainable weekly video podcast episodes, working closely with show production teams to deliver weekly episodes by deadline • Working closely with the Unexplainable team and with oversight from Vox’s Art Director to develop a visual look and graphics package for the show, • Create original assets and templates for videos and video podcasts. • Collaborate closely with editorial leadership, Vox’s other art director, and video producers. • Provide art direction and graphic supervision for video packages for visual clarity and adhering to the Vox style guide. • Adhere to all journalistic and legal standards at all times. • Complete additional duties as assigned.

• Craft compelling video narratives for diverse audiences by designing and producing high-end deliverables optimized for various platforms • Create stunning visual effects in After Effects and Premiere Pro, employing techniques like easing, motion tracking, and complex animation • Elevate raw footage into polished visual stories through expert color correction/grading, rotoscoping, and masking • Seamlessly integrate and leverage 3D camera techniques within After Effects • Perform audio equalizing and mastering to ensure optimal sound quality • Partner with copywriters and other creative team members to translate scripts and complex ideas into clear and visually engaging motion concepts • Build marketing assets that resonate with audiences while adhering to brand guidelines • Champion accessibility by ensuring ADA compliance in all digital video deliverables • Own the creative journey from initial storyboard and concept through to final asset delivery • Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and work closely with internal team members and marketing partners

• Create high-quality standards and believable character animations using motion capture data and hand-key animation. • Animate narrative and dialogue-driven cutscenes, ensuring emotional impact and stylistic consistency. • Work directly in Unreal Engine 5 Sequencer to stage, implement, and polish cinematic content. • Collaborate hand-in-hand with Cinematic Artists to align performance, camera work, and storytelling. • Work with narrative, design, art, audio, and production teams to achieve a cohesive cinematic experience. • Maintain, polish animations, and resolve bugs efficiently. • Clearly communicate progress, blockers, and needs to leads and production. • Stay organised, manage your time effectively, and consistently meet deadlines.

• Collaborate with other design and marketing team members to create engaging videos for Telnyx’s website, social media, advertising, and other digital channels • Own projects from concept to final delivery—preparing style frames, storyboards, animation, sound, and finishing • Juggle multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality • Leverage AI design tools to help generate video assets and expedite delivery • Elevate motion design across Telnyx channels
