• Design visuals for Unexplainable weekly video podcast episodes, working closely with show production teams to deliver weekly episodes by deadline • Working closely with the Unexplainable team and with oversight from Vox’s Art Director to develop a visual look and graphics package for the show, • Create original assets and templates for videos and video podcasts. • Collaborate closely with editorial leadership, Vox’s other art director, and video producers. • Provide art direction and graphic supervision for video packages for visual clarity and adhering to the Vox style guide. • Adhere to all journalistic and legal standards at all times. • Complete additional duties as assigned.
• Develop and lead editorial content strategy for assigned team communities centered around seasonal tentpole events. • Develop and implement policies and best practices for assigned team communities • Attend regular meetings to discuss and refine strategy, programming, and tactics in pursuit of our audience goals. • Collaborate with NFL Director, Community to increase engagement around comments, Feed posts and overall community health. • Collaborate with NFL Director, News to expand our audience on all platforms with a refined SEO strategy • Conduct editorial oversight, quality control, and accountability for assigned team communities sites. In some cases, this will include close editorial oversight of original reporting and coverage of sensitive subjects. • Oversee assigned team and macro sites and associated budgets, with seasonal adjustments between tentpoles • Work with assigned team communities to continually diversify their contributors and audiences • Execute on sales strategies in partnership with stakeholders • Supervise full-time employee site/team community producer(s) • Serve as a point of contact for assigned NFL team communities contributors to SB Nation, and provide consistent and reliable support to contributors. • Consult with programming, audio, marketing, commerce, legal, and other internal teams as needed to implement NFL content strategy on team communities • Conduct outreach to assigned team communities managers and staffs, and facilitate exchange of story ideas, strategy, tactics, successes, opportunities, knowledge sharing, etc. • Serve as point of contact for communications to assigned team communities from Vox Media, which may include working with or communicating messages from: product, support, editorial, video, legal, and/or people & culture teams, in conjunction with centralized SB Nation leads • Coordinate and collaborate with senior team community management and producers on NFL coverage. • Occasionally, research, write, and edit posts related to topical coverage of multiple teams. • Produce high-quality, timely content that resonates with each team’s fanbase while maintaining the broader voice and tone of SB Nation. • Stay ahead of NFL trends, breaking news, and significant stories and apply to relevant team site coverage. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders across the NFL to ensure content goals align with strategy
• Manage end-to-end paid media execution, including budget pacing, bid optimization, ad trafficking, creative iteration, audience segmentation, and adherence to platform best practices. • Use reporting and analytics tools daily to assess campaign performance, uncover insights, and make data-driven optimizations that scale and improve results. • Support the development of channel expansion strategies by leveraging internal analytics, external research, and market intelligence to identify new growth opportunities. • Track, analyze, and report on paid and organic campaign outcomes, distilling insights and recommendations that fuel continuous improvement across both current and future channels. • Develop and own a routine cadence of sharing learnings and actionable insights regularly with Eater leadership. • Stay ahead of industry and digital media trends, proactively bringing forward new ideas, innovation opportunities, and key shifts in the media landscape. • Monitor competitive activity, including onsite and offsite messaging, paid and earned media initiatives, partnerships, and broader marketing efforts. • Keep informed on editorial trends and performance, in order to come up with ways to integrate Eater content and voices into marketing campaigns.
• Own post-sale execution and operational management for key direct retailer and affiliate network partnerships, with a focus on high-revenue campaigns and initiatives. • Partner closely with Partnerships to support campaign execution, optimization, and performance improvements that drive incremental affiliate revenue. • Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve workflows, operational processes, and scalability across ecommerce partnerships. • Identify and implement process improvements, documentation, and automation opportunities to support team efficiency and growth. • Provide operational support for ecommerce campaigns, including planning, launches, performance tracking, optimization, wrap reporting and case study creation. • Coordinate with Editorial, Branded Content, Audience Development, Partnerships, Finance, Legal and other internal stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely campaign delivery. • Support affiliate link coding, QA, and ongoing content optimization in partnership with Editorial and Revenue Optimization to ensure accurate tracking and maximize monetization performance. • Manage and maintain accurate campaign, partner, and revenue tracking in Salesforce and Boostr, ensuring data integrity across the post-sale lifecycle and supporting forecasting, reporting, and partner reviews. • Analyze affiliate and campaign performance data to surface insights, identify opportunities, and inform partner and internal discussions. • Build and maintain reporting frameworks to support forecasting, partner performance reviews, and renewal or upsell conversations.
• Solve problems like churn risk modeling, LTV calculations, retention impact measurement, paid marketing attribution, etc. and build tools and integrations to make their outputs actionable. • Define measurement frameworks and build tools and dashboards to measure impact of initiatives across acquisition, engagement, and retention. • Work closely with team leads on the Data and Consumer Revenue teams to understand problems, discuss approaches, and make decisions about approaches and tradeoffs. • In partnership with data engineers and analysts, help with ongoing measurement and reporting needs for this business. • Occasionally work in partnership with others on audience-facing initiatives like recommendations.

• Oversee and handle a wide range of claims and disputes, including defamation, copyright, trademark, privacy, employment, and commercial matters. • Lead the Company’s response to copyright and other pre-litigation disputes including: coordinating internal fact-gathering, researching relevant law, and negotiating and reviewing settlement agreements. • Manage outside counsel, including review of pleadings and other drafts, in active litigation and other matters, ensuring efficient and strategic case handling consistent with business and reputational priorities. • Lead e-discovery and document preservation processes, including issuance of legal holds and document collection. • Develop and refine existing workflows for preservation and production from Gmail, Slack, Google Drive, and other platforms, working closely with our IT and other teams to ensure compliance. • Respond to subpoenas and other third-party legal processes, including evaluating scope and appropriateness of service, coordinating fact gathering and document collection, and ensuring timely and appropriate responses and defenses. • Coordinate with insurance brokers and carriers to submit claims, respond to adjusters, and ensure appropriate coverage. • Research and monitor developments in relevant laws and develop and implement internal practices and policies to achieve compliance with applicable laws and regulations at the local, state, and federal levels. • Assist with other legal matters or projects as needs arise. • Work closely with editorial, HR, finance, operations, and executive teams to mitigate legal risks and develop proactive solutions.
