Role Description As a Graphic Designer / Video Editor at Go Connect, you will create engaging social media creatives and edit short-form videos (reels) that match brand guidelines and drive audience attention. This role is ideal for early-career candidates (0–3 years) who are comfortable working hands-on with Canva and design tools to deliver consistent, high-quality content on a daily schedule. Key Responsibilities - Design social media posts, banners, and story creatives aligned with brand style and campaign goals - Edit short-form videos/reels: trimming, sequencing, adding text overlays, transitions, music, and basic effects - Adapt content for multiple formats and platforms (e.g., Instagram Reels/Posts/Stories, YouTube Shorts, Facebook) - Maintain consistency in typography, color, layout, and overall visual identity - Collaborate with the team to understand content requirements, timelines, and feedback - Organize project files and export final assets in the correct sizes and formats - Deliver work on time with attention to detail and willingness to iterate based on review Qualifications - Canva (strong working ability for social media design and templates) - Adobe Illustrator (basic to intermediate for vector design and clean layouts) - Figma (basic to intermediate for design, layout, and collaboration) - Basic video editing skills for reels/short-form content (cuts, captions, pacing, audio sync) - Good visual sense: composition, color, typography, and trend awareness for social media - Clear communication, responsiveness to feedback, and ownership of deliverables Requirements - Experience: 0–3 years (freshers with strong portfolios may be considered) - Education: Not mandatory - Age range: 20–30 Work Setup & Schedule - Work mode: Work from home (WFH) - Working days: Monday to Saturday - Timings: 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM (includes two 1-hour breaks) Compensation - Salary range: ₹8,000 – ₹15,000 per month (based on skills and interview evaluation) Interview Details - Mode of interview: Google Meet (GMeet) Work Location (Office Reference) - Kolkata, India (WFH role) - Office address (reference): Synergy Workspace, Salt Lake What Success Looks Like in This Role - Consistently delivering scroll-stopping posts and well-paced reels that match the brand’s tone - Fast turnaround with clean, organized files and minimal rework - Strong attention to detail in captions/overlays, alignment, and export quality - Proactive communication on timelines, blockers, and feedback implementation
