Role Description Fabriq is looking for Senior Full-stack Engineers. We have built a product that is a clear leader in its category. The next stage is not incremental improvement: it is, while delivering new features, raising the bar on robustness, performance, depth, and overall product quality. You should expect complex technical and product challenges, and a strong level of responsibility. This is a role for engineers who want to have a real, lasting impact on both the product and the organization. Working Conditions - You must be able to work fluently in French and in English. - You must be comfortable working remotely, as most of the product department is remote. Back-end - The REST API is historically implemented with Django; new developments are done with Deno — so, TypeScript. - The database technology is AWS Aurora with Postgres compatibility, for both Django and Deno servers. - With Deno, we use Drizzle as a lightweight ORM. - We heavily use Honeycomb and Sentry to understand what goes on at scale. - Our coding style in TypeScript is inspired by data-oriented programming. Front-end - Our web app is a single-page application in Vue.js, partially in TypeScript; we migrate from JavaScript as we go. - The front-end application is continuously deployed with Cloudflare Pages, allowing for preview URLs on pull requests. - We use Claap to share videos of our work and Sentry to log errors. - We also have a mobile application, developed with Vue.js and Capacitor. Infrastructure - The servers run as containers on AWS, using ECS and Fargate, with plans to use EKS in the future. - The infrastructure is entirely Terraformed, using CDKTF with TypeScript. - A small number of customers have dedicated infrastructures. - We support on-premise deployments using Kubernetes operators, alongside a deployment toolkit built with Nix. - For observability, we use Honeycomb, built on OpenTelemetry, giving us structured traces across the stack.

• Design, develop and optimize Databricks/Spark pipelines (batch and streaming) with a focus on quality, performance and observability. • Integrate and orchestrate data on AWS (S3, Glue, Athena/Redshift), ensuring governance and security. • Build datasets and pipelines for AI/ML (feature engineering, training and inference data). • Deliver end-to-end data solutions for products and BI (ingestion, transformation and provisioning).

• Support commissioning testing on facilities and manufacturing equipment • Author commissioning plans, risk assessments, commissioning protocol, and standard operating procedures • Provide client support and project management for projects as part of a larger team • Generate documents such as commissioning master plans, design qualification, equipment, facility and utility commissioning protocols, and final reports • Perform commissioning and qualification testing on utilities and manufacturing process equipment and instruments • Review and assess systems • Develop and review design specifications and engineering drawings to determine if systems meet project intent • Review equipment specifications, user manuals, and engineering documentation to understand systems operation; test equipment and systems to assure they meet project requirements • Develop and review spare parts lists; ensures spare parts are adequate and cost-effective; and setup spare part rooms operations for clients • Perform system walk-downs and testing, identify gaps and non-conformances; analyze options and solutions; and make technical changes to systems • Participate in professional organizations such as ISPE, PDA, ASQ, NCEES, NCBELS, AERGC or other professional organizations relevant to their area of expertise • Provide project commissioning updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders • Work collaboratively and build effective relationships with Client's project team, owners and final users, design team, contractors, and local jurisdictional personnel • Maintains a positive attitude
