Insurance Billing Specialist

• Demonstrate commitment to the Paradigm Health mission, vision and core values through your daily job performance. • Process all Medicare Hospice Notices (NOE/NOTR) promptly and follow up to confirm acceptance within the required timeline. • Collaborate with the Intake team to verify patient benefits and consents, addressing potential issues prior to admission. • Assist with audit of daily admissions and discharges. • Daily completion of Medicare billing audit and claims submission processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with CMS requirements. • Monitor and reconcile Medicare hospice claims daily; troubleshoot rejections, make timely corrections, and resolve issues to prevent payment delays.
Job Requirements
- Medical Billing experience is required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
- Flexible, organized, and exercises sound judgment.
- Meticulous attention to detail, claims accuracy, and compliance.
- Excellent time-management.
- 2–3 years’ Medicare hospice billing experience strongly preferred.
- Associate’s degree, healthcare billing certification, or equivalent hospice billing experience preferred.
