• Independent, accurate and timely execution of the monthly payroll for all locations (wages & salaries) • Accurate calculation of salaries, special payments and deductions (using DATEV Lohn & Gehalt) • Reporting and certification to social security institutions, tax authorities and other relevant organizations • Electronic retrieval and processing of sickness certificates • Serve as the primary contact for all payroll-related queries for the sites • Coordination and correspondence with health insurance providers, social security institutions and authorities • Continuous optimization of payroll processes • Support the HR department with administrative tasks and HR projects
Job Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training or an equivalent qualification with a focus on payroll accounting
- Several years of professional experience in payroll accounting, ideally in a multi-site environment
- Very good knowledge of payroll tax law and social security regulations
- Experience with DATEV payroll systems (LODAS / Lohn & Gehalt advantageous)
- Structured, meticulous and independent working style
