Job Summary Serve as a Technical Lead responsible for architecture, solution design, and delivery of complex government modernization initiatives. Lead the transition of legacy applications to Salesforce Government Cloud Plus using Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS), driving the implementation of scalable, secure, and compliant portal solutions within a federal environment. Own technical decision-making, system integration strategy, and platform governance across a multi-portal ecosystem while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to translate federal requirements into effective technical solutions. Responsibilities - Lead architectural design and implementation of modernized solutions using Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS) - Drive migration of legacy systems and components to Salesforce Government Cloud Plus - Oversee ingestion, transformation, and management of high-volume datasets ensuring scalability and data integrity - Design, develop, and test APIs, user interfaces, and batch processing jobs in an Agile delivery model - Ensure compliance with FedRAMP High security controls and support Authority to Operate (ATO) requirements - Configure and manage Salesforce platform components including profiles, roles, and access controls - Implement and manage integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems using MuleSoft or similar middleware - Partner with product and business teams to define technical solutions and provide accurate level-of-effort estimates - Lead Agile/SCRUM ceremonies and mentor development teams to deliver high-quality, incremental releases - Utilize tools such as Postman and SoapUI for API testing and validation - Ensure solutions meet accessibility standards including WCAG 2.0 and Section 508 Required Skills - Salesforce certifications including Administrator, Advanced Administrator, and Public Sector Solutions or OmniStudio Developer/Consultant - Strong expertise in REST, JSON, SOAP, WSDL, and XML Schema - Deep knowledge of Salesforce PSS, Experience Cloud, and Government Cloud Plus - Advanced data modeling skills with experience designing complex Salesforce object models - Hands-on experience with integration platforms such as MuleSoft for event-driven architectures - Proficiency in API testing tools such as Postman and SoapUI - Strong understanding of federal security and compliance frameworks including FedRAMP High - Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0 / Section 508) - Proven leadership experience in Agile/SCRUM environments - Excellent communication and analytical skills with ability to assess existing systems and take technical ownership - U.S. Citizenship or authorized work status with ability to obtain a federal Position of Trust (background investigation required)
