USN College Advisor
Role Description Your role in helping us shape the future: USNCA empowers everyone to thrive. In this position you will have the opportunity to leverage your strengths and skills to help build and expand the USNCA college advising business. The Admissions Coordinator excels at consulting with customers on their college admissions journey. People in this role use excellent listening skills to understand students' current situation and communicate effectively how our services can help students reach their goals for admissions and scholarships. Scheduling families for a full consultation is the primary goal of the Admissions Coordinator. As part of the job you will: - Be a helpful guide at the beginning of a student/parent’s journey with CollegeAdvisor.com, providing value and resources to every family that engages with the company. - Connect with families through 70-100 minimum inbound/outbound dials daily to walk them through the beginning steps of the admissions process and review our potential support services. - Assess whether prospective families are “qualified” for deeper sales activity and schedule follow-up demo calls for qualified families to meet with our Admissions Specialists. - Work with the Marketing team to give feedback on the quality of leads from various marketing sources. - Manage leads through a CRM platform (Salesforce) and provide frequent feedback to Operations teams to improve key tools and systems. Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree or higher - Outgoing personality with great energy and an excellent phone presence - Strong collaboration and people skills to interact with staff, colleagues, and customers - Goal-oriented with a desire to succeed - Ability to work with digital technology such as CRM (e.g. Salesforce) and video chat tools (e.g. Zoom) to effectively support students and advisors in the college counseling process.
