• Leads complex, multi-workstream projects with enterprise clients, managing dependencies across technical, creative, and business teams • Owns end-to-end delivery for high-value engagements, ensuring on-time, on-budget execution while maintaining quality standards • Manages multiple concurrent projects, balancing priorities and resources across portfolio • Drives proactive risk management, identifying issues before they become blockers and implementing mitigation strategies • Leads change management processes, negotiating scope changes and managing client expectations on budget and timeline impacts • Ensures business objectives, KPIs, and success metrics are defined, tracked, and achieved • Owns project roadmap build and execution. • Serves as primary point of contact for enterprise client stakeholders, building trusted advisor relationships • Facilitates executive-level conversations, translating technical complexity into business value • Manages difficult conversations with tact and diplomacy, de-escalating issues and maintaining client confidence • Proactively identifies opportunities for account growth and expansion • Mentors and coaches Project Managers and Associate PMs on methodology, client management, and delivery best practices • Provides guidance on complex project challenges and escalations • Conducts project retrospectives and captures lessons learned to improve team performance • Participates in hiring and onboarding of new project management team members • Identifies and implements process improvements to increase delivery efficiency and quality • Contributes to PM practice development, including templates, playbooks, and standards • Shares knowledge across teams through documentation, training, and peer learning sessions • Collaborates with Program Director on resource planning and capacity management • Owns P&L for assigned projects, monitoring budget utilization, profitability, and forecasting • Manages change requests with clear financial impact analysis • Ensures accurate time tracking and resource allocation to maximize billability
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field such as Business Administration, Management, Information Systems, Marketing
- 5+ years experience in a project management role in the technology/digital space
- Demonstrated experience managing enterprise clients and complex stakeholder environments
- Proven leadership, relationship-building, and executive presence
- Experience mentoring and developing junior team members
- Advanced budget and financial management including P&L ownership and earned value management
- Track record of managing high-value client relationships and driving account growth
- Ability to manage ambiguity, work under pressure, and meet aggressive deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to think strategically and execute tactically
- Outstanding communication skills across all levels (written, verbal, presentation, executive briefings)
- Strong coaching, mentoring, conflict resolution, and negotiation abilities
- Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and drive change across organizations
- Experience working at a professional services company such as a marketing agency or consulting firm
- Proven track record managing complex, enterprise-level web development projects ($500K+)
- Deep experience in the eCommerce industry with Shopify Plus platform expertise
- PMP, CSPO, or equivalent certification
- Advanced proficiency with Asana, Jira, or similar project management tools
- Expert knowledge of Scrum, Agile, and hybrid delivery methodologies
- Strong understanding of eCommerce industry standards, best practices, and emerging trends
- Experience with resource management and capacity planning.
